English pub atmosphere is wonderful and it's very popular and always busy, but the food is very bland. It doesn't seem like they add any seasoning at all, and I'm pretty certain that they used to because their scotch eggs have gotten significantly more tasteless as time passes. Their meat pies leave much to be desired as well. I had a steak and mushroom pie one time and it had no distinguished flavour other than watery and slightly meaty. Sadly there was only 3 pieces of meat in there and probably one mushroom because the rest of it was liquid.

Their cooks need to learn how to cook better tasting food.

Everyone loves this place. I give it 4 stars because I understand it is appealing to people, you will 99% like it. I personally hate sitting at a table when 2 strangers just sit right down at your table, no hello, smells sweaty and bad. Food is very good and homemade. Expect to wait for a table if you go at peak times and holidays. Garden is really nice in the summer.

Food and service were great. Patterned after an old English pub, the setting and ambience have kept my wife and I coming back here for years. One of my favourite features? The (real) wood fireplace!

Bar service, 2 fireplaces, seat yourself affair. Ultra cozy, very friendly. Excellent food. Neat secrets if you keep your eye open ;) see if you can find where the locals hide notes for each other. A great place to bring friends and share stories, or even go alone with a book.

This is must visit place. Small, English style pub, right down to a good proportion of the menu choices. Biggest shock to most people from England will be the chilling of the beer (NOT English style!).

Staff offered friendly service even when busy. Service a little slow (when busy), possibly due to bar staff system rather than any shortcomings of the hard working staff.

Beers we tried were good and the food was extremely good and worth the longer than expected wait.

Outdoor seating available. Toilets good and clean (Canadian style in gents). Take a look at the park next door - but, not with your alcohol!

Cozy little English style pub tucked away on the edge of the town. It was packed and food selection surely reflected the reason behind this. Great selection of beverages as well.

It's really too bad, great food, nice staff, but the bar order system is a complete mess. All you guys need is one bartender who just stands behind the bar and doesn't leave. There would be 6 confused people around the bar and not a single server there.. Easily a 20+ minute wait for a drink. They did not offer us glasses of water with our food, and although I tried to line up to purchase a drink, I was too hungry to wait in a 20 minute line up with no guarantee that an employee would show up.. Just get one full time bar person and your problem is solved

Just go here, you owe it to yourself. Heads up, place your order at the bar, then go sit down. If you are sitting and waiting for wait staff, you'll be in for a long wait as that's not the way they work here. Awesome food, great beer, friendly staff and a beautiful location. Take your friends, they'll love you forever.

Great atmosphere! Very nice pub and garden! Food took awhile to arrive, but was worth the wait! Love all the wall coasters! Unique!

    Highly recommend…
Wish there were more places like this! Lovely rustic English style pub, simple menu but everything is very tasty. Their outdoor garden for dining is lovely and a wonderful place to grab a casual, delicious meal with friends and/or family. Only downfall (for me… maybe not you…) is that they don't allow any children.

The most authentic English style pub I've been to in Canada. If you want a sports bar don't go here. If you want good food and drink, excellent ambiance without being pretentious and friendly staff come here!

Nice place located in a nice area. The food was good and the price was reasonable. Busy place, but not a lot of younger people. I'd definitely go back.

Wonderful authentic Irish pub. Quaint bar with good selection of food and drinks. Of course Guinness is on tap. In summer a peaceful outdoor beer garden surrounded by nature. Wild ducks at the lake and a comfortable bench to enjoy your brew.

Worth checking out! This place has a great atmosphere and delicious food. You will not leave hungry: the serving sizes are large, the food is heavy, and the beer is goood! They recently added a new vegetarian option, Curried Mac and Cheese which I really enjoyed and would get again.

Although there is lots of seating, a wait is still expected since this pub is so popular. It is a bit easier to find seating when the weather gets nicer as they open benches outside as well.

I spent a few years in England and the Crow is the first place that has actually pulled off the "old English pub" atmosphere in Canada. Beautiful gardens in summer, cozy fires in winter, and tables large enough for big groups or to share with strangers and make new friends! Always a friendly atmosphere and great staff. Local ciders and beers on tap (as well as Guinness and other favourites), wonderful food (the beef dip is something to write home about!), and the raspberry pie in summer is unbeatable! May to October the farmers market is open in the adjacent field, do yourself a favour and pick up some local goods before dropping in at your new favourite pub!
