We needed a new fence, and reached out to three different local fencing companies for quotes. Our fence was old, and we knew we wanted a step up from "builder grade" pre-built fence panels.
Black Dog Fencing came out the next day, presented several different options of fence styles, and gave us an easy-to-understand quote that broke down the various aspects and options that we had discussed. None of the other companies came out, and their quotes were not as easy to understand as Black Dog's. We decided to go ahead with Black Dog Fencing, and their six foot powder-coated steel panel fence. We paid a deposit, and set an installation date.

On that morning, the fence supplies arrived, followed, a short time later, by a dumpster, the tool van, and the Black Dog Fencing team. The demolition and removal of the old fence was done efficiently and in a tidy manner. The new posts were dug and concreted in place, that same day. Once the concrete cured, the metal panels were framed and installed in one day.

We are delighted with our new fence, the workmanship by Jean was impeccable, and owners Kalvin and Tyler's customer service was top-notch. We have received many compliments from our neighbours.

Without reservation, we highly recommend Black Dog Fencing, and the high quality products they use.

We just recently had our fences, retaining wall and gates replaced. We are so happy with the finished product. Kalvin and Tyler work with top quality products and install strong long lasting fences. Their installer did an amazing job and the fences look beautiful. I would choose them again and would recommend them to anyone doing their fencing. They are trustworthy and hard working guys. Black Dog installed a beautiful steel and cedar fence in our back yard. While they did end up starting the project later than originally anticipated (for valid reasons) they communicated well about the delay and were sincere in their efforts to make sure we were happy with the results. We were! The fence is amazing. The workmanship good. The installer was professional and neat and efficient. Cant recommend them enough. We had had a few quotes and the price for corrugated steel with cedar frame came in the same as another company quoted for a cedar panel installation.

The guys at Black Dog Fencing just replaced the 20+ year old fence between us and our neighbor's. They were friendly, prompt and professional at all times. We went for the custom board over board style of cedar fence. A year or so ago I saw this style of fence and knew that when the time came to replace our aging fence that this was the style I wanted. (ended up that it was Black Dog Fencing that had done the work I had admired). The finished product looks fabulous and we couldn't be happier! The project was completed on time and on budget! Thanks to owners Tyler & Kalvin and to installer Jean! Job well done guys! Highly recommended!

Black Dog Fencing did an amazing job on our dog run! The crew are extremely detail oriented and have great craftsmanship. They are also incredibly professional and very friendly. It was a pleasure having them at our home to do this project for us. The craftsmanship and quality of work speak for itself. We have had three neighbors walk by and ask for the company details, as they too were very impressed with the quality of the finished project. Also, the crew left the site impeccably clean and tidy afterwards. We definitely will have them back to do our fence and other projects in the future. We greatly appreciate the care and consideration that went into this project. It’s always difficult to find a good trades team and this team exceeded our expectations.
