Bamyan is a great place I may not like the ambiance, but that's just me. As for food they serve amazing fresh and flavorful food. The rice may need a bit of modification in my perspective but the meat and everything else are fantastic. My favorite thing about the place is the home made hot sauce. The meat is very tender and nice, and i order usually their minty salted yogurt. It's just a good combination.
Heard a lot about this place but i was to impressed. Good Food but nothing special. Didn't expect to be severed lamb shank (with the bone) and naan that you can find in your local grocer.
If you want a large portion of good lamb, rice and veg check out Orly Grill on Sheppard and Willson Heights area.
Food is great. We regularly visit.
A humble suggestion for the management to improve.
An installation of a digital display for annoncement of order number being served will definitely save customers from listening to a really annoying loudspeaker announcement by the staff.
Food quality is very good. Good portions and fare prices. Staff are friendly. It can be very busy during week days specially around noon. Lots of parking space available. Tables and common areas are well maintained and clean. Go to this place if you like to taste real Afghanistani food.
I feel disgusting each and every time I eat here Because I devour the meal like a pig, I swear I almost ate the little basket they put the bread in. (I don't know the specific name of the bread so I'll just call it bread). I'm currently trying to have 1 plate of each thing on the menu, so I can properly connect with this restaurant. Bamyan kebab to me is better than some fine dine restaurants that require reservation, this place is beyond phenomenal. I shall eat here till they close or I die.
Absolutely love the food here! takes a bit of time to prepare but its definitely worth it. good variety of options, bread is amazing by itself, mango drink so good. Def gotta check this place out!
If you are looking to get a great value for your dollar then definitely try Bamiyan Kabob. They have multiple locations all throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The food is prepared fresh and amazing quality & quality wise.
It can be very busy on weekends around dinner time.
I just found my new comfort food. The bread that comes with your entree is so tasty and the meat has the perfect blend of spices.
I had a chicken shawarma and it was delicious. It wasn't very busy when I came here so I don't know how long of a wait it usually is, but it took about 10 minutes for my meal to be ready. The prices are reasonable and the quantities are very filling.
Excellent food. Don't know much about the cuisine, but i keep coming back for more. Everything i order tastes amazing. Always hot and fresh
The food here is great. But they are way too slow for such a popular restaurant. I enjoy eating here and the food is freshly prepared. I recommend ordering ahead for quick service. The portions are also very huge.
Great food and prices but a little slow to take orders
Great food - freshly prepared and delicious! Rice is really tasty and meat is juicy and tender. Good customer service and portions are filling. One of my favourite places!!!
Good Halal food option for York U students and people working in the area. Location get very busy at lunch.
Rating only 3-stars because they keep raising their prices while the quality of food seems to be suffering.
Best Kabob place around. The food is ALWAYS fresh and the staff are all very friendly! The rice here is amazing as is their half chicken dinner & tandoori chicken
