Well it's official!!! The Grumpy Veteran has passed on the baton! Officially signed the deal and is moving on to bigger and better things! April is down from North Bay and is looking to establish her own style of restaurant in Emsdale called the "Fork on the Road"a fast, and delicious dining experience with a lot of the same great food with some added twists.one of them we are sure is not as much "Grump" as you would get with Adam!
April has already recruited a team and has been operating at a steady pace to get her feet wet! When her new menu and line of novelty items get started I'm sure she's going to be a hit in Emsdale and surrounding area!

Well everyone it is official! We are closing our doors for good this weekend! It's time to pass the baton and move on to bigger and better things! Sat June 16th is our last weekend or till our stock is gone!
A chef named Sherry will be taking over on the weekend of June 22nd watch for her announcement. She is new to town so we don't know what she's running but after meeting her I'm sure she will cook up a storm!!
It has not been an easy decision to leave a business like the Grumpy Veteran, that was built from the the "ground up" that expanded to a huge success in a very short time. It's amazing to us how where ever you go or a lot of people you talk to have heard of us and how grumpy Adam is! It's satisfying upon climbing to the summit of this project we started in Kearney that we left our mark upon everyone who came to enjoy our food. Thanks to our customers most of you reading this now, we couldn't have done it with out you and all your support, and we will always cherish the memories and experiences build in the past 3 years working for you! Hope to see you all this weekend even just to say good bye, we are not leaving the area just the Legion

This is well worth your visit for great food and prices and Adam and his staff are very friendly. Best pizza in town you won't go away hungry. And if you are on your way in or out of Kearney don't forget to checkout Young Guns Chip truck in Emsdale they have amazing poutines that are so delicious.
