My GF and I have been going here for some time now and haven’t had a chance to review. Tonight we planned our usual 15 min walk to the brothers to grab our usual; for myself, a chicken salad and for the lady a chicken sandwich with a side of potato. Tonight my better half had a craving for poutine. I’m not super big on poutines but she knows the good from the great. The brothers killed it tonight. The poutine was top notch. My salad hit the spot as always.
Though I’m not complaining, I’m always wondering why their patio is empty. This is the only spot in the area to enjoy an awesome shawarma dinner (or poutine) on a patio. The people watching is top notch too ;)
Always great service and portions are generous.

A few days ago I ordered and they messed up my meal it was really bad weather so I didn’t get the order fixed.
After I spoke to the owner I was told to call back another day and they would fix my order. Ordered today but was surprised to also get a drink, baklava, potatoes and of course the awesome donair.
They went beyond my expectations as I only asked for the sandwich great way to start my afternoon thanks guys looking forward to ordering again soon :)response / report this review -

Great staff and amazing food. One of the few places where I would order beef instead of chicken. Ask for an original shawarma with thin bread and spicy beef. You won't regret it!

I came from the GTA, thinking we knew how to do shawarma, but no. I was mistaken. 3 Brothers is the real deal and no other shawarma will ever taste as good in comparison! :P Thanks for spoiling Ottawa with amazing food and terrific service.

Full disclosure.. I once wrote a bad review about the 3 Brothers location on Rideau and Cobourg. Whenever I ordered, the food would show up cold. After my bad review, I was contacted by one of the owners who apologized and offered me a free meal. As a long-time customer, I felt that this was an important gesture to retain my business. I chalked up my bad experiences to circumstance and operational shortcomings.
Fast forward to tonight.. After a long day at work I decided to stop in to the location on Rideau Street downtown. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a small container of potatoes. I paid for my meal and as I was exiting, the gentleman at the cash told me that there was a drink that came with my meal. I assumed that he gave me the combo price which, like most places, comes with a free drink. I grabbed a can, smiled, thanked him and wished him a good evening.
Suddenly, the second man that was there and working on the service line got very mad and started yelling at the clerk in Arabic. I honestly had no idea what was going on. They began to argue back and forth. I exited the store. When I was about 30 ft outside the door and walking down the street, I could hear the cashier yelling, "SIR! SIR! STOP! COME BACK!". This was an enormous scene and I continued walking. At this point he yelled even louder. When I didn't turn around, and the yelling clearly wasn't loud enough, he let out an enormous two-finger whistle which echoed down the street.
Upon arriving home, I realized why he ran down the street after me. I had received a large sandwich, instead of the regular-size one that comes with the combo. This enormous scene, embarrassment and complete unprofessional conduct was all over a few dollars that they made the mistake in not charging me. Based on their reaction, you would have thought that I stole their tip jar or took 6 free drinks from the cooler. Nope.they just undercharged me by a couple bucks.
I am absolutely floored that conduct like this is deemed acceptable by this company. When you as a business charge somebody the wrong price, that's on you, not on the customer for you to embarrass publically. The fact they felt the need to pursue me over a few dollars is downright pathetic and sad. It goes without saying that I will never be back to this place again.
Based on my experiences, I can tell you unequivocally that this place does not deserve your business or hard-earned money. I can honestly say that you should go anywhere else, literally anywhere. Heck, even just staying at home and cooking yourself food is better than being treated like this.response / report this review -

Amazing food. I've been going here for years and I've always enjoyed it. This evening for the first time ever I ordered the chicken shawarma platter. It was phenomenal. Spicy hummus, extra garlic sauce and pickled turnips. Just wanted to say thank you, I enjoyed it immensely.

I ordered a beef shawarma poutine and got it for delivery. They delivery guy took forever to get here, and I ended up with a chicken shawarma poutine instead of beef. I didn't bother calling to complain and get the one I wanted instead because I was hungry as hell. The poutine wasn't bad (well the chicken isn't the best, that's why I wanted beef) it's just not what I ordered and definitely didn't satisfy my craving for beef shawarma poutine.

i was assaulted by the delivery driver. i ordered food from new shawarma king with a 20% discount thanks to just eat. it came out to just over 46 bucks. i got a call from a different restaurant, 3 brothers shawarma, saying they had my order (confusing) and that they didn't have any dr pepper so we substituted a coke. the just-eat email said that the food would arrive at 12:20. i called the restaurant at 12:25 and they just told me the driver was already out. then the food came finally very late and i went down with 47 dollars to the lobby. he told me a different amount, 54 and change, and i said no the website and email said this amount. then i showed him the email. he still kept insisting on the 54 so i called the restaurant. the manager told me that he "wasn't able to put the discount in the system" and i'd have to call the owner in the morning to get him to refund the discount then the driver called the restaurant to hear the same thing from the manager. then the driver explained it to me. then i left the money and took the food and went to the elevators. he yelled after me and followed me into the elevator and stood in the elevator door yelling at me and threatening me and grabbing and pushing at me. he repeatedly assaulted me and kept me stuck in the elevators for several minutes. he was standing in the doorway to the elevator and keeping me and a random dude hostage basically. he called the cops and the cops finally convinced him to go away from me and so i was able to get away from him for good. i could hear him yelling at the cops outside for like an hour. the manager of the restaurant called me and called me cheap and poor and told me "you're lucky you're a woman [indecipherable babbling] i don't like dealing with women." i hung up on him. i opened the food and our order was all wrong. my veggie plate that was specifically asked in a note to be vegan had some dairy sauce poured over the whole thing. the salad and starch on my wife's meal were the wrong options. both our drinks were missing and so was the dessert.

Went in and ordered 2 large shawarma and a small potato. One guy that started the shawarmas was wearing gloves but the guy finishing wasn't.these days people wear gloves when making food. Not sure why one does and the other doesn't but it's pretty gross.ended up throwing the one I ordered out.

The only reason i didn't give a 5 star because there was this 1 employee who was kinda disrespectful and rushed the shawarma dressing, didn't ask me what i wanted in the shawarma and gave me this dirty look. Other than that, best shawarma in town, potatoes are great and freww wifi so why not, would definitely recommend!

Ordered a large Poutine and a small donair with 2 can drinks and the guy tells me on the phone it's 27$ I thought it was weird cause I know the prices. Then the guy comes and gives me the food and asks for 27$ and hands me the bill so when I got inside I look at the bill and its 23.55$ I gave him 30$ !!! Not fuckin cool I'm pissed !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the donair was really soggy !!!!! I feel disrespected !!!
