This was our 3rd year at the Phoenix. Staff is beyond believable - can not give them enough credit. From the front desk, to the bar, to the pool, to housekeeping - all were absolutely amazing. Rooms are fully furnished - just pop down the street to get a few groceries. Pool is relaxing. Food is fantastic (especially the molten chocolate cake).

We had an incredible experience at the Phoenix. The room was amazing and the staff were friendly and attentive, accommodating special requests. The activities were a great addition and well run. We will definitely stay there again.

I would give ten stars if I could. One of the most beautiful places I could ever imagine I feel blessed I got to come here. Gorgeous view of the reef. All in all, the total 5 star experience.

Beautiful place on the water looking out towards the reef. The views there are absolutely gorgeous. The resort is situated kind of in the middle of everything. You are not far from restaurants and bars, and several things are in walking distance. Golf cart parking, the main mode of transportation on the island, is within the resort walls. Phoenix's restaurant, Red Ginger, is nice and quaint and serves really good food. The staff is courteous and friendly. I would love to stay here again

My family and I have stayed at The Phoenix multiple times and have had the same 5 star experience each and every time. The staff is hospitable and the location is very convenient. The happy hour is great and the rooms are absolutely incredible. We go to Belize at least once a year and will always book with The Phoenix.

We can’t say enough good things about the accommodations, grounds, and staff at the resort. We loved every second of our honeymoon. They thought of every possible detail. We stayed in a large room beachfront with a sprawling 3rd floor patio. The food was fantastic! We were able to rent a golf cart and book excursions through them. They made our trip seamless. I also had a medical emergency while on the island. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the duration of our trip was comfortable and convenient. Taking me to the medi clinic, making trips back and forth, and checking in on us after the trip. Best place to stay on the island! Convenient to everything.

When I get the chance to go back to Belize, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. The staff was AMAZING. They contacted me immediately to arrange for transportation and even arranged my TropicAir flights. Such an accommodating place. When they heard we were visiting for my friends birthday, they even brought up a complementary treat! We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. Had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. So happy I found this place, it is a true gem.

We stopped in for a drink and to scope out the place for a possible future stay. It was very nice, but we would not stay there. It felt like you were literally in Phoenix, not the Caribbean. They don't even have a traditional beach (Its a sea wall). I must say that each of the staff that we encounter was extremely nice.

We did not stay there, so take my advice with a grain of salt

This was our first trip to Belize and we had a wonderful vacation! I give most of the credit to the Phoenix and their staff. From the time I booked our room until our arrival, I was given VIP service. Once the reservation was confirmed, I received an email with suggestions of restaurants and activities. After I looked them over I contacted the Phoenix with of list of things we was interested in doing. We emailed back and forth until our 8 day vacation was planned!!! It was like having a travel agent within the hotel! When we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing drink. Ana took us to our room and explained how to use all the amenities that are provide. The I-pad, the personal phone, washer/dryer, etc.. The room was amazing and the view was spectacular. She also provided us with vouchers for all our excursion and reservations. The rest of our stay was just as relaxing and special. The pool is spotless and the staff is so attending. The restaurant was delicious! We loved the complimentary happy hour from 5-6. We met some wonderful people. Another great asset is their location. You can walk to almost everything!
All the above help provide us with a stress free vacation. If you are looking to stay at a 5 star resort with a 5 star staff, this is the place.

We stayed at The Phoenix for nine days in February, 2017. The resort itself is peaceful and quiet with lovely staff. Everyone is friendly, they know your name and use it, particularly the girls at the front desk and the waiters. Everyone is extremely helpful. When my husband became ill, they helped us to locate a clinic close by and inquired about his health each day until he had recovered. The dining room staff were also pleasant and helpful, with advice on gluten-free choices. We ate most of our meals here as it was attached to our resort . They serve a good mixture of choices, from lamb masala to stuffed grouper, fresh salads, tapas two days per week and a daily lunch special. Be sure to look for Ronnie, the charming waiter who knows everything there is to know about the island. Altogether a pleasant atmosphere. Personal favourites are the lamb masala and creme brule. The resort is attractive and clean, with good swimming pools, including a lap pool. Altogether a wonderful vacation!

Our stay at The Phoenix was fantastic, from booking to (sadly) flying home. Because I was looking for a place suitable for a toddler and my elderly parents, as well as someplace luxurious and close to town, I had very specific parameters within which to work. And a million questions. The staff at The Phoenix patiently answered my questions and worked with me to ensure that our flight from Belize City to Ambergris Caye and every other aspect of our stay was well-handled. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations (lovely *clean* bedrooms, bathrooms, and infinity pool right outside our door!) and the ability to walk around San Pedro on a daily basis. The Phoenix staff was so sweet, even giving us extra Keurig coffee during our stay and bringing us more towels without complaint. Best thing of all--no one got sick! I loved the fact that The Phoenix Resort provided you with a container of filtered water at the kitchen sink. Very well thought out by the designer. Thank you to the staff and management for the amazing stay! We will hopefully be back soon!

Best vacation experience we've ever had! The Phoenix Resort exceeded our expectations and we are already planning when we will return to the resort again! The staff at The Phoenix Resort provided the best customer service my family and I have ever received on a trip. My sister and I mentioned to Rolando (one of the pool bartenders) that we wanted a fresh coconut to drink. Not even 2 minutes later, he was on a ladder literally chopping coconuts down for us!! I've never seen service like that in my life! Everything from the resort grounds, to the food, to the staff and all the incredible ocean views make The Phoenix Resort the best resort in all of Central America (in our opinion!) Thanks everyone at the Phoenix for an unforgettable vacation!
