Guest house with nice (small) rooms, a relaxing and nicely set up garden. Most importantly, great service. Bicycles can be used for free.

Despite the website and my emailed confirmation stating that I reserved a room with a queen bed, Changes only has full sized beds in any of the rooms. We were very disappointed since I had specifically looked for rooms in San Pedro that were queen or king sized beds. The location was convenient, the breakfast was tasty with moderate portion sizes, the rooms were tiny, the courtyard was a great place to relax but the bed size was completely misrepresented. I never would have booked if I had known that quote "the mattress was bigger than a bunk bed so we called it a queen".

Il Changes in Latitudes è una di quelle strutture famigliari, o comunque a gestione di pochi singoli, che inizialmente ti può spiazzare, ma poi sa conquistarti.
Comincio con il dire che sono arrivato a San Pedro alle 18 locali via mare, e nonostante un tassista che non sapeva dove il B&B fosse, sono riuscito ad arrivarci pochi minuti dopo.
Ma non c'era nessuno ad accogliermi! Un foglietto avvisa che la reception (che è una stanza che include cucina e una specie di hall) è presidiata solo fino alle 17
Fortunatamente il locale era aperto, ed ho potuto usare il telefono presente per chiamare i numeri indicati: al primo tentativo ho chiamato l'uomo della manutenzione, che si è fatto vivo alcuni minuti dopo. Egli ha chiamato una signora, che è comparsa dopo 10/15 minuti. La stessa ha chiamato Renita, la titolare americana del B&B, con cui ho parlato al telefono: pensava il mio arrivo fosse il giorno seguente. Alla fine la signora mi ha dato la chiave della stanza, la numero 4 (di 6 al piano inferiore, più un appartamento grande al piano superiore) e ho fatto il check in il mattino successivo.
A parte questo disguido, che ad alcuni potrebbe anche infastidire, il resto dei due giorni di soggiorno è stato piacevole, nonostante la mia stanza non mi abbia praticamente permesso di dormire in determinate ore, in quanto è a due metri dalla strada!
Tutti i componenti del personale sono gentilissimi, sempre pronti ad aiutare, consigliare e a far sentire l'ospite a proprio agio.
Buona la colazione mattutina, sempre varia (frutta, dolci, ), wi-fi disponibile anche se debole nelle stanze (il miglior punto per la recezione è il gazebo esterno), posizione un po' defilata rispetto al centro della cittadina, ma con le biciclette che vi sono a disposizione gratuitamente presso la struttura è possibile raggiungere qualsiasi parte dell'isola.
