Very nice place, great location for your stay next to the beach, and a stop for the boat take you to snorkeling, they have good menu for food, the staff very friendly and nice. Tow swimming pools, there is a small shop 3-5 min walking distance from it, and not far from some restaurants. Big love for San Pedro 😍 I went there April 2018. Smell around was bad but it’s caused by Algae coming from the sea to the beach.

Beautiful views, but the rotten seaweed smell is constant.
It's really a shame the hotel doesn't remove the seaweed because the smell is overwhelming. The hotel is lovely, the views are amazing but the smell ruins all that.
Take a walk on the beach and see all the beautiful views.

If you are OK with a dated facility this is a great place. Everybody is super friendly and helpful the food is great. Back 20 years ago banana beach was probably amazing. For me it is perfect. I can get away and be left alone or I can hit the town hard. If you are used to new things without blemishes better go somewhere pricier. For the money this is the place for me.

Great place to stay! Large rooms, good breakfast, and a great deal with the snorkel boat Lil Alphonse. It has it's own private beach, but with all the floating seaweed on the shore you may not want to swim. Still, Alphonse and his snorkel crew gave us an incredible experience.

A huge bonus od this hotel is they pay for your taxi from the water taxi port to the hotel. It's a nice place to come and the vibe is very chill. They have 2 pools, a bar by the beach, and a restaurant. You get free breakfast with coupons from the front desk, and 2 free drink coupons. Our overall stay was very nice but some of the amenities could be upgraded. Staff was very nice as well

Big rooms on "the beach " no kayaks or paddle boards,. Beds are taken from a prison or torture chamber.

This is a great hotel to stay. The rooms are clean and have really comfortable beds. There are two pools (although during our stay they where cleaning the big pool) and there are a lot of comfortable beds next to the pool and beach. Furthermore the staff is really nice and do their best in helping with any questions or problems you might have. Also we enjoyed breakfast (which was included) and dinner at the restaurant although some dishes are really pricy.

The room was nice & it was clean. I like being right on the beach & the pools were nice & they were clean. I'm vegan & they have no vegan options & wouldn't work with me on my selection of food. They wanted & expected me to live on a potato & a small iceberg lettuce salad for 2 days for dinner, a small plate of pasta for lunch & a small plate of fruit for breakfast. They were very closed minded & didn't want to even hear about it. Because of that I'll never stay there again.

WiFi is unstable, drops frequently on various stationary devices. Air-conditioning in the room never got it much below 80 despite it being on and set to well below 80 for well over 12 hours. Tiles in the kitchen area were buckling. Shower knobs leaked. Staff are friendly and helpful and make it easy to do access activies like snorkeling, diving, Zipline, cave tubing, and more. Two pools and a pool side bar at one of the. A little away from town center so no real traffic or town noise.

All of the amenities without luxury pricing. This slightly dated but well-maintained resort delivers maximum value for your vacation dollar. Get an oceanfront suite! You can sleep 2-4 people, or you can add rooms to it to make up to 4 bedroom suite connected by an interior hallway. Perfect for extended families! Most of the lodgings here are full-sized condos, not just rooms with kitchenettes. All the comforts of home, plus you can look out over the beautiful sea right in front of you from your private covered veranda! From this resort you can walk into town right along the beach, you can choose to stop at dozens of beach bars and restaurants along the way, or not! Close enough to walk, but far enough from the "Bourbon Street" party scene to make it a quiet, relaxing experience. Great restaurant on site that is popular with the locals, plus a bar and a lounge area, 2 pools and a waterwall. Resort also features massage, golf carts to get around in, and adventure tours to the mainland or nearby dive/snorkel stops. Truly an all in one resort without the outrageous prices of the luxury resorts to the north. And the staff are the greatest! Complimentary shuttle from the San Pedro Airport or water taxi so you don't have to drag your bags. Truly the best value for the money that we've found on the island.

For the price, it's a good hotel. Rooms are clean and the services are great. A bit out dated but for a beach front hotel, with this price you can't get any better.
Location is a bit off. Need to take the taxi or 30+ mins walk to downtown

The hotel feels well maintained but not very furnished out. Ac works well and the beds are luxurious. WiFi is spotty but the bar has another network that you can access in their lounge area

Small place. Nice restaurant. Pretty far from the main drag, but still walkable even along the waterfront. Small pool. AC! Blessed AC!
