Worst place I have ever stayed at. We came with 10 and the owners and management were constantly unacommidating. They make you feel like your a child. Constantly talking down to you and scolding you for having fun. Want to have a snack 30min before the restaurant closes, too bad. Want to play music at the pool, too bad. Want to just relax in peace, sorry there is a change for that. The place is beautiful, but the management and owners suck. We will never come back and I'm sure they would prefer that. Hope this helps in your selction.

On a side note, the dive guide and master were great! Most of the staff is very sweet also.

Beautiful resort. We stopped by for a Belizian breakfast and the fry jacks were so so good!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we’re so glad we chose Portofino. We got a diving package, so we dove for three out of the 5 days here. Action Divers is located on the dock of the hotel, so all we had to do was walk to the dock each morning and get on the boat. The divemaster and boat captain were great, they caught some lionfish for us and we took it to the restaurant for them to cook it for us.

The food at the resort isn’t cheap, but it was really delicious. Our package included breakfast and a 3-course dinner, which was really nice. We tried a new thing from the menu each day and everything was fantastic. The drinks were really good as well.

The staff was really nice, courteous, and helpful. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

The mosquitoes can be annoying, but it’s the tropics, so I don’t know what else people were expecting. Bring bug spray and you’ll be fine!

Beautiful place, amazing rustic cabinas with a very Caribbean island feel. Came here on our honeymoon and were delighted. Nice and relaxed, peaceful setting away from noise of town. On site snorkeling and diving activity coordinators. Only down side is difficulty getting into town if you want/need to.

Hmmm. lots of things all the staff have been great. Very accommodatingvery quiet property.. rooms are comfortable and the food decent. but a number of things that are a bit frustrating Very secluded from nightlife or going out. The beach while convenient, is very shallow and with tons of sea grass and not great for swimming. Mosquitos are terrible and bug spray once you make you way into town is expensive. There are only two free shuttles at kind of inconvenient times and it is 11$ US each person each way for a water taxi.

Decent resort, but it's at the far end of the island so it's a pain if you want to venture into town. The resort itself is pretty tiny, and price for food and drinks are expensive. I knew I was in trouble when the menu stated all the prices are in usd.

Boat ride was a nightmare, food was not great for the price. My Manhattan straight up came back as a shot of whiskey on the rocks.
