Nice Relaxed Resort with all the amenities required for an extended stay vacation. It is currently being remodeled so it will only look nicer during our next visit. The rooms were very clean, pool area was nice with a great view of the ocean. The rooms have a small kitchen set up with all you need to do some in room cooking or to warm up leftovers. I recommend renting a golf cart and taking a short drive to a grocery store and pick up some basics like Belikin Beer, sausage, eggs, bread, etc. I liked this resort because it wasn't over crowded, its wasn't huge, it was a more relaxed atmosphere, not a lot of kids running around.

Beautiful place. Nice apartments rented out to tourists as a hotel room. Second floor units are best. People are very friendly. Awesome pool and swim up bar. But . beaches are overrun with seaweed to the point you don't want to go near them. Smell is awful. Happens every year but locals down play it. Other cayes near buy don't have this issue. Prices are high. Restaurant is aweful. Next caye over same things are cheaper. Locals work together to have consistent high prices for excursions but if you look hard enough there is a native willing to do it for much cheaper. Secret beach is best beach on bay side but it's a desert underwater. Nothing to see. Prices for food are a bit crazy too.
So while this place is everything it said it was it's no 5 star destination.

This is my third stay at Belizean Shores. I love this resort. It is affordable, clean and has great views of the ocean. At night the pool lights change color. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. This is not a posh, upscale resort. There is a pool bar, bicycles for rent and you can book various excursions. There are plenty of options to explore.

Quiet, clean, relaxing. The staff are super friendly. We were there during the off season but you could tell this is now if a relaxing spot than a party spot. The sister resort is very near by and had a few more restaurant options. There's a water taxi stop on site to go into town. There's also a tour company (Tuff enuff) on site that was nice. Prices were comparable to others but convenience was way better.

Amazing place with a great pool and views. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful especially Mouse the barman. Apartments are large and air conditioned.

The suites are roomy and all have amazing ocean views. The pool is the best I've ever seen; it's a fantastic setup for kids, but adults will also enjoy it.
The entire resort is very nice & clean, with friendly & hardworking staff. We would definitely return.

Clean large rooms, comfortable beds, great pool and hot tub, beautiful views, tours offered though the resort were wonderful, plenty of free activities including kayaking, basketball, tennis, life size chessboard etc. We were in heaven! My 8yr old loved it too!

Stayed here for our honeymoon for 12 days it was beautiful and quiet! Rooms are huge and have everything you need in the kitchen. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. A little far from town but if you rent a golf cart or even ride the bikes, it doesn't take long. We ate mostly at Coco Beach next door as the prices are pretty fair and the food is yummy. They also have a cute cafe for breakfast or snacks. The poolside bar has an awesome happy hour every day from 4-5pm that offers 2 for 1 tropical drinks like piña coladas and rum punches. The bartender is top notch!!!! We loved the pool as its cool in the hot sun. The only downside is the beach area, lots of sea grass and sand flies but that's expected in tropical areas. Bring lots of bug spray and sunscreen and you'll love it. We will always remember our stay and hopefully come back to visit in the future!
