This place is just like going to stay with Grandma, if Grandma lived in the Bahamas. It is the only place I will stay in Nassau. Great food, good location between airport, dive shop and downtown. $2 bus to anywhere, Jitney I think they call it.

Recently stayed here for a dive trip to the Bahamas. It is a nice enough place to stay for diving. It is not a resort, but a family run place. People are friendly and it has your needs met. The restaurant at the main house is good and the pool is well kept. Walk right across the street to swim in the ocean.

Had a layovet in Nassau, stayed overnight. Had dinner at this hotel. It was the best food I have eaten in years. They also have the best coffee. Management was kind and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful, relaxing place, very close to the beach. Though the airport is quite close you're not bothered by the planes (taxi from/to the airport is 15 $).
Food is very good, no need to go out for dinner.
It's not a five star hotel, but for normal people, who don't need white linen changed every day or champagne for breakfast, it's a wonderful place to stay with amazing staff.

I really don't like writing bad reviews, but better to share my experience with other travellers.
The hotel was in really bad shape. The main area (restaurant and lobby) don't have AC and because of the humid weather in the Bahamas, everything smelled a little bit funny.
The lounge chairs, by the pool, didn't have cushions just bare metal.
In our room, the blinds were broken and the window wouldn't close. So the AC was on, but never was able to cool off the room.
Breakfast was sad No fruit, or any vegan/vegetarian options.

24 hour lay over in Nassau, near airport and cheap, not terrible, kind of cool, I wasn't crazy about the food but my wife thought it was better than I, the grouper was the best thing on the plate and it was great, you can tell the place was super cool back in the day.

Better suited for a quick love hideaway for those who may not be as selective. It is across the road from the beach and has a pool.

Nice little hotel. The rooms are a decent size and fairly well kept with a private fenced in back yard (ground floors). Great food in the restaurant.

I loved staying here, I was there just for 24 hours, but the staff and owner were lovely and looked after me. The room was basic, but that's reflected in the price, but who cares when you have the most beautiful white sandy beach a short stroll away and at tea time I had the whole beach to myself. I still think about the breakfast, I had thick cinnamon eggy bread with crispy bacon and maple syrup.

Remember that hotel prices in Nassau are terribly high. So you would need to adjust your standards for the price of this hotel, which remains a good value for money. The owner is welcoming and available. The hotel is at 10 min driving distance from the airport, and very close to the beach (just cross the local road). Swimming pool is not the best but suitable for a quick refreshment.

Very peaceful place, with lush gardens. Close to the airport, and right across from a nice little beach where the Beatles filmed Help! The accommodations are adequate. Good restaurant on site. There is not much within walking distance, so be prepared to take a taxi or rent a car.

Very homely accomodations, nothing fancy but very warm staff.

They have a beautiful beach across the street with a beautiful view. Excellent stay for the money. Easy Access on the #10 Jitney Bus for $1.50/25min ride to and from downtown and the cruise port. Affordable way to see the local culture and island.
