Everything was excellent except that they forgot to put towels inside the bathroom and I was too tired to go remind them but other than that I would have give them 5 stars. I go there once every month.

Sign says Land Shark hotel. Very basic hotel, basic room. Clean. Pool, bar, and restaurant on site. Friendly hotel staff and bartender. Short walk to the beach

When we first got to the hotel, it had a restaurant and a cigar shop in the front. No where did we see Coco Plum. It was a completely different name. At first we thought we had been duped by the cab man. This should not even be called a hotel. It is completely not up to par! The check in process is a flimsy piece of paper where you fill out your first name (waste of time). The front desk person grabbed a couple of towels. We couldnt use any of it cos we brought our own. The towels were discolored and looked dirty. The first room she went to had luggages in there and reeked of smoke. She had us go to another room, did not even apologize. Just pathetic! The decor in the room looks like a DIY project. They grabbed a few woods and nails and fixed it up themselves. NOTHING appealing about this place. Not even the pool!
This hotel is a complete misrepresentation of the real picture. Had I known before hand, I would not even pay $30.00 for this nasty place. I took plenty of pics to prove my point. Dirty, nasty sheets. Spring mattress, like seriously?! I was beyond repulsed. If we could get our money back, we would! Thankfully hubby listened to me and only booked one night before hand. He could not even close his eyes. We skipped taking a shower that night and could not wait to leave. We left super early and booked the Courtyard by Marriott downtown. We were allowed to check in very early at the Marriott, which was a life saver!
Coco plum is false advertising and should not even be on the list of available hotels in the Bahamas. It sure gives it a bad name. Shut it down already!response / report this review -

Do not stay here, it looks like a hold up spot for people waiting to cross the into the US. The rooms are small, dirty,Smokey and really low class.

This place isn't entirely terrible. Only if you compare it to the franchise hotels. You got a bed and bathroom and a balcony if you ask. Pool, bar/restaurant. No fridge, phone or microwave in room but you can use the office's. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free public beach beside the Marley resort. Grocery and fast food a ten minute walk either direction. Souvenir shopping is downtown.

There was no remote for the TV I changed and the TV in there had no sound there were no extra blankets available the ac was stuck to one temperature and it wasn't even cold
