Only reasonably priced resort that had availability. So glad we tried it out, wonderful personalities in every staff member we came across, from housekeeping to management. Location is perfect to get to the beach, and getting local transportation. We caught the #10 everywhere, the fish fry, downtown, etc etc. Travel like the locals and see lots of things. There's a grocery store that's a little walk away, and many restaurant on the resort. You can really just stay at the resort if wanted. They have a conch shack there, when I say freshest conch on the island and tasty I mean it, I had a tropical conch salad every single day I was there, they crack it right out of the shell. I'm already planing my next trip back to Sandyport.

My wife and I have been going to Sandyport for two weeks every February for the last 22 years. Every year the resort gets better. The landscaping is stunning, but what makes this place memorable are the friendly competent people who work together to make it a home away from home. Rowena Jones, the president and Vernon Moss, the General Manager have combined to create a pleasurable ambience for those who visit the resort. Another person deserving special mention is Lady Sarah Bosfield-Higgs, who is always available to help plan excursions, Whenever we go, the two weeks go much too quickly. For us, it is a great place to unwind. We love it.

I love Sandyport. Have been visiting for over 11 years. Love the I am home atmosphere. Staff do their best to help make your time there as perfect as possible. So close to the ocean. Just a few steps away. Relaxed time . Restaurants in an enclosed time share. Always feel safe there. Staff will do their best to help you do what you are wanting to see or do. Wonderful people and place. Thank you Sandyport!

I had an fantastic experience at this resort. The staff were pleasant and very helpful , the rooms were clean and offered great views and the atmosphere of it all was peaceful. I really enjoyed my stay.

Sandyport Beach Resort always exceeds my expectations, whether for a personal stay or for my clients the resort staff go above and beyond to ensure that any requests are met and that they do absolutely anything that they can to help! The resort provides a tranquil getaway surrounded by beautiful beaches steps away from the bedrooms! Spacious suites provide a home away from home with fully equipped kitchens, jacuzzi tub and shower. I can't say enough good things about this resort and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in The Bahamas!

This is my second time staying here at Sandyport and it’s really peaceful and quiet. A nice place to relax and get away for a day or two. I stayed in room 511 it has a great view and close parking which was a plus. I’ll be back!

Sandyport Beach Resort is an awesome place to staya home away from home. The staff are friendly, and tend to all your needs as efficiently as possible, and the ammenities are just wonderful. The pool area with slides make it one of the most popular spots for the kids, while the adults can relax on one of the lounge chairs or take a dip with the kids, or in any of the other two pools. I must say though, my absolute favourite part of the resort is the rooms. They give off a true Bahamian flairthe decor is breath taking, while the appliances in each room are modern and invite you to make yourself at home. I can honestly say that I most look forward to waking up and watching the sun rise from my balcony. In all the rooms that I've stayed in, the views of the marina never fail to disappoint. This resort is one of my favourite places to stay in Nassau!

Sandy Port is one of the best beach resorts in the Bahamas. The location is away from downtown Nassau which results in a quiet and low-key atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Ask Lady Sarah to give you an introduction to the local area. She was very accommodating to our needs and will set up appointments for Scuba Diving, Spa days, and the like. There are snorkeling reefs right off the beach, local restaurants, and shopping centers all worthwhile. If you wish to go into Nassau, take the bus, it is only about a 15 minute ride.

The staff was incredibly helpful, and the resort was very low-key. Our stay was very pleasant from start to finish. Lady Sarah is amazing at helping organize fun activities and knows all the ins and outs of the entire island. We hold this place in high regard.

love this resort and people. Tito and Tanya were very helpful. close walking distance to the beach about 2 minutes. free shuttle to the grocery store. only complain is that the need for rugs from all of the sand from the beach. the food in the Bahamas is extremely expensive.

Sandyport Beach Resort is Second to None! My family and I stayed in one of their spacious and comfortable suites which had us feeling right at home. Their employees are warm and friendly; not to mention helpful. Even though the purpose of my stay was business related, it was extremely relaxing to watch my kids having fun in the three pools and my wife getting a Swedish Massage on the pool deck while I conduct business on my laptop by the pool. Sandyport Beach Club, we will definitely be coming back!

This is an awesome family oriented hotel. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The suites are immaculate! Your room is literally on the beach! This is the best vacation spot ever! Great community with lots of food choices nearby and most other things that you would need while on vacation. The beach is beautiful and the world famous Blue Sail is minutes away.
