We booked a deluxe room for just under 1k but upgraded for only 10e a night to the prestige room, after seeing the deluxe room was relatively small. The prèstige room is much nicer and more spacious but the shower is REALLY small. It doesn't make sense how small it is. Also, there is no shelf in there so you are forced to put shower gel and shampoo on the floor and keep bending down in the small space. Pressure and temperature was good though. WiFi is free and plenty fast for HD streaming. Breakfast is good, continental options and full English spread with cured meats and cheese and pastries. No coffee or tea service though. Bed is comfortable but the double bed is two smaller pushed together. All staff very friendly. Turning down service where you're basically given a couple of chocolates. Would have been nice to offer a bottle of water and some snack for night of arrival.

- Stuff always has to ask their supervisor before answering my questions. Not luxury. Not worth the price. Rooms are very simple for such a high class hotel.

The room was amazing, very big and a very comfortable bed. Great location, we were able to walk everywhere we went. Parking was limited so we parked around the corner but less than 5 minutes away. The English of the guy that checked us in was not great but not terrible. Overall a great hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Brussels getaway.

Sweet, old-fashioned, grand style. Decent location for exploring Brussels. Parking also available right outside on the street, free on Sundays. A wee bit tired and dated however. We chose a deluxe room but I really question if we got it, or question the size of the classic rooms. Breakfast could also be nicer.

Love this place. Still independent hotel, good deals often available, older style, so not for modernistas. The bar is nice with a particularly beautiful sky scene painted in the dome.

Grand hotel in a downtown location. Room was spacious but could do with a bit more lighting. Air conditioning controls were nowhere to be found. Room was very warm, which is a major plus for a cold winter's night. Internet speeds are average.
