We loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was lovely. We also enjoyed the champagne breakfast each morning!

Wonderful hotel. The manager Hans was superb. Nothing too much trouble and when he knew Giovanna Adamo was meeting us at the hotel he arranged a special buffet. I enjoyed my time with Hans choosing a good bottle of wine for my husband’s birthday. An incredible hotel manager and Sara who worked at the hotel met us at our room with a sparkler and ice-cream to celebrate. The only downside was the rooms we were in were too dark and no mirrors, not designed for women but, it was soon put right. Thanks to everyone. We will be back!

Most upscale hotel I have stayed in and a great value considering the location and particularly relative to the competition. Roomy rooms. Tub and separate large shower. Very comfortable bed. Superb breakfast.

The hotel building was beautiful. but other than that there is not much i can recommend about this place. We stayed in the junior suite expressly because they advertised stained glass windows and historical features. Our room had neither. When i spoke with them about it they point out that the technical working only says "some" rooms have these features. My wife and I offered to move to a normal room if they'd refund the difference. They instead offered us a credit, we were there for one night the credit was useless to us. Further the top floor hallways smelled of smoke. When we went to leave we asked the concierge to order us a cab which they assured us several times that the had but no cab arrived in the next 30 minutes and we had to waive down a taxi to not miss our train (which we barely did). Our cab driver told us the hotel contracts with a local unreliable taxi service and that is why the rest of our trip was nearly ruined.
Save your money this place is all attitude and very little quality.response / report this review -

Great hotel, staff are happy to go above and beyond. Rooms and design are lovely. Hotel is in the centre of town. Highly recommended for a short city break!

The best 5 star hotel we have ever stayed in. Extremely clean, amazing service, friendly multi-lingual staff and perfect location! The whole experience, although for one night, was unforgettable. And as well it's great value for the offered price.

Beautiful historic building right in the centre of Bruges. Although very central the hotel is very quiet and we had a peaceful stay. Helpful staff, clean room with lots of attention to detail. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

An actual 15th century castle. We arrived late in the evening and ended up with a free room upgrade. Not only was I sleeping in a castle I had a room upgrade. I was starting to feel like a princess. The breakfast at the hotel was nothing short of royal. There was an entire wall of fire oven baked pastries and breads, chunks of Belgium chocolate, meats and cheese and so much more. As for me (now celiac and gluten free,) they offered fresh baked gluten free bread and pancakes. I would defiantly recommend staying at Dukes Palace to enhance the Bruges experience.
Dukes’ Palace is located in the middle of old Bruges, Everything is walking distance. We were pampered there by the helpful staff, amazing food and historical beauty inside and outside the hotel castle.response / report this review -

This is our 3rd time in 12 months to this hotel. Love this hotel and love Bruges.
The hotel is so comfortable and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Just love being here. A treat central location too.
A box of chocolates was in our room on arrival as a welcome back gift. Such a nice touch.
Already planning another return trip with family.

More then just a hotel in the city. Great rooms and beds good service. Very nice atmosphere. Staff is proactive . Breakfast is super. Fresh juices. Chocolate. Local breads. A must do when you are in Bruges
