Lovely hotel in the heart of Bruges. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in a great location, very helpful receptionist or helped us park. If you don't know where the carpark is you'll never find it so ask for help. Only complaint was the breakfast wasn't for my taste being English!

The Acacia is a wonderful hotel. My wife and I have stayed here many times and have always had a nice experience.

Hotel was very well located. My husband and my mother in law stayed there for 2 nights in the family room. Breakfast was good. Cute parrot at reception. Some staff were very nice but some were rude and did not smile. THe rooms were of old decor but sheets and towels were clean. However, our toilet and bathroom was dirty. A lot of brown scum was in the toilet bowl and they did not clean it even after feedback. The shower had pink mildew in corners. I went to the washroom near the breakfast area and it was cleaned very nicely so I'm not sure why they neglected our toilet even after feedback. The phone in our room was also not working and when I told reception they said only said they knew and thanked me for "noticing", which was a strange response which did not make me feel like a valued customer. I don't think this hotel deserves its 4 star rating. I think I have been fair with noticing both good and bad things. Personally, I would never recommend this place for the price you pay.

Phone in rooms out of order. Bathroom could be cleaner. It's close to the market square, which is its only saving grace. The bird did his job with a happy "good morning"

Good clean hotel with a friendly welcome. Ideally situated just off the main square. Convenient parking a couple of minutes walk away.

Very comfortable hotel in centre of Bruges. Staff were all brilliant and spoke fluent English and made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast had a good selection and plenty of it.
Bar was reasonably well stocked and fairly priced and it was very pleasant drinking in the courtyard late in the evening, rather than try to find a seat in a crowded bar.
Although some of the decor was a little dated, it just made the stay more comfortable and definitely a positive difference to modern chain hotels.response / report this review -

Very nice hotel. Just taken over by new management. They are working on refreshing the hotel as it is a bit dated in areas. Our first room was a bit old and rum down but clean and large. We had to transfer to another room due to a problem in the room. Staff were quick to deal with it and management comped our breakfasts for our stay along with a bottle of chapagne and a free round of drinks. The second room was smaller but updated. They have a decent breakfast buffet and a nice courtyard. The hotel is in a great location just around a corner from the central market, shopping, sights, bars and restaurants. Over all great place.
