An experience is made by the interactions you encounter. My experience with this place would have been better had it not been for the very rude bartender. When I walked up to order a drink, he left the room, not to be seen again for several minutes. When he came back, he was on his phone in the back, not bothering to service the three people waiting. However, despite his rudeness, the place was ok. The receptionist was very nice, the beds were good, the wifi was very fast. Our room, however, smelled like urine and stale water. Would not stay here again.

Room smelled like urine and the bartender treated you as an inconvenience. He didn’t want to be available to help, didn’t have anything to offer, was hanging out with his friends, and kept turning up his music seemingly to get us to leave. Checking in was easy, rooms are decent, but I’d go somewhere else if you’re looking for a place to relax, drink, and hangout.

Good: nice location, utilities were well kept. Mattresses were comfortable and reception was very helpful.
Bad: a little on the more expensive side, room smelled like urine and bartender would rather you go somewhere else than serve you. He sat in the back on his phone for 20 minutes, only coming out to tell anyone the beer they wanted wasn’t available. Something is wrong when on a Friday night only one drink gets served.

Nice atmosphere, clean rooms and friendly staff. The best breakfast I’ve had in a hostel! The only annoying thing was that we had to change rooms during our stay, otherwise would have been 5 stars :)

Stayed 2 nights in September 2017. We had a private room with private bathroom. The place was great. Room was very clean and bright with huge windows. The staff were friendly and offered suggestions on where to get food, drinks, and tours. Hostel is a short walk from the main downtown area and there is no curfew which is a plus. Overall a great place to stay.

We had to arrive in the wee hours of the morning so when we confirmed this to the hostel they told us the same day that we were supposed to arrive that they cannot let us check in. Important to mention that 2 days before they said that they could let us check in. We didn't have other place to go so we decided to arrive anyways. We arrived 3 am and due to the miracle that two pple abandoned the room at the same time we arrived, generously the night concierge gave us the room. That was he bad part. The good one was that after all we received a room (off course completely dirty but at least something) and the following day the hostel didn't charge us for that night. So they fixed the mistake. The hostel is nice, well located and the staff is kind (Olivia is great). Our last day the room was not cleaned. To sum up: Some pro and some negative points. I give 3 stars. In any case, i am not sure I would come back.

Don't arrive before 3pm, you won't be able to go to your room. Bring locks, you'll need them. The rooms are sadder than in the pics. Everything else is good, great breakfast, great beds and quiet rooms.

Acceptable standard for this price. Good breakfast buffet and helpful staff. It is youth hostel, so sometimes it can be a bit loud. Wi-Fi only at lobby.

Friendly staff, ok-ish rooms. There are no plugs at the bedsides, they are all next to the main door. The buffet-breakfast you get is definitely one of the pros, in addition with the cheap price.

Good for the price. Fine breakfast and the beds were okay. However the room wasn't clean when we came in. Empty bottles laying around and haires in the shower pit.
