The food and service were good. The Cafe charges to refill your (small) ice tea. Like Aruba in general, prices are high.

Awesome yummy breakfast with a great view. It's good to take a break from the trendy restaurants and just get a good hearty breakfast that starts your holiday morning off right. Great food at a bargain price! The Dutch Pancake House next door is great too!!

Great food and service. Chicken and pork satay are amazingly delicious and reasonably priced. The peanut sauce was to die for. Do try Dutch roasted potatoes.

Very slow service! It took an hour for them to get our food ready. This is considering that we went at midday and the place was half empty and they have plenty of servers. The overall food quality was not that great.
The owner does not care that the people in the resturant. While we were trying to eat our food he had the TV's on full blast showing a soccer game with the sound on loud. Not a good experience.response / report this review -

While the food is good, the waitresses always seem to be unfriendly. Step next door to the Dutch Pancake House for a better experience. We have been coming to Aruba for over 25 years, staying at the Renaissance.

We got the pasta and pineapple curry (special). The food took about half hour to come out. Unfortunately, the pasta was a bit too salty and the curry was a little too sweet. Big portions though, so that's a plus.

Right down the middle bang on kind of breakfast next to the Dutch Pancake House, which is where you want to be when you're starving and haven't eaten anything all day (b/c it's breakFAST time). We weren't supposed to go to the Cafe The Plaza but ended up here b/c the Dutch Pancake House is disorganized, slow, and is unable to seat people properly.

They were extremely friendly until we sat down and ordered. Then the waitress immediately gave us attitude. Starbucks (around the corner) would be a better choice than this place.
