Great park to help preserve the environment!!!! Biggest cactus I ever seen. They look like trees. It cost money to drive through.

Very cool park wish I had a lot more time to explore it. There is a cave that has drawings and markings from first island inhabitants. Very unique look at the real Aruba

Fantastic nature and geological experience. Note that the hike into the natural pool is a pretty strenuous. Walkway is about 45 minutes each way but the terrain is difficult and the footing is difficult. Some of the roads are hard on the car and you should proceed with caution, but we'll worth the time it takes to navigate the pot holes and drainage crossings. The caves are spectacular and the tour guides are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had a great day and came home exhausted.

Great to go find singe private beaches and off roading. Bring drinks and snacks and spend the day exploring. 4 wheel is recommended!

Excellent experience. Route 7 is passable by normal car as long as one stays on the marked roads. There are frequent storm drains which slow you down considerably.
We were hoping to find burrowing owls, but did not see any. We were told that Boas have decimated the local population and the owls have been adapting to live closer to human habitat. We saw a lot of wild goats and donkeys along with abundant variety of birds.
We took one walking trail - Miralamar. You can see the ocean on both sides of Aruba.response / report this review -

My favorite part of Aruba! So many things to offer, could've easily spent 8 hours there. Caves, hiking, natural pool, and the coast. $11 entry free, cute visitor center

Very interesting park, reminded me of Arizona. Scenery is beautiful and that side of the island is very different from Palm Beach. Go to caves, a must see. Driving is easy in Aruba. It will be hot in the park, take lots of water and sunscreen.

Arikok national park is a great park to drive/hike around.
I took the UTV excursion around with EL Tour and it was totally worth it. This park has great caves to explore and has one of the cleanest natural pool I have seen.response / report this review -

A lot of cool stuff to see, including caves with thousand year old painting in them. Don't miss the pool with fish that will nibble at your feet. We didn't get to the natural pools, because we didn't have a vehicle that could make it and we weren't about to walk 45 minutes each way in that sweltering heat for that visit.

Arid desert landscape, dunes, caves and a natural bridge. Good place to spend the day. Go by 4x4 as it's a difficult drive as the road has deep stone gulleys every few meters to allow water drainage and then there is a lot of off-road driving which is just dirt tracks etc.

Amazing place, the natural pool is a lot of fun a great place to visit. The big issue is that road to here is rough and you have to have a jeep or a special vehicle and put up with lots of motion as you navigate to the pretty places. Overall it is well worth it.

Do not go without a Jeep or 4 wheel drive vehicle with good clearance. The storm drains on the main road are very steep for a car and everything else is off road. Go early and take your time. You will not be asked to leave because at the end of the day they just leave and go home. The natural pool is great but be careful it is slippery. The caves were fun but go early or the bats come out. Lots of fun but be ready for a rough adventure

One of the best national parks out there! This park has everything from caves and beaches to a 4x4 zone! You don’t need a 4x4 to enter this park only to go the beaches and the 4x4 zone, it also has a restaurant inside the park!

Incredible scenery. Can rent a jeep Wrangler, side by side, or quad, and 4 wheel to the natural pool. A car will NOT be able to handle this very rocky and hilly terrain. Afterwards you can travel to the huge caves, and later by the giant electric producing wind turbines.

It's nice, but in my opinion, only worth one visit if you are a frequent traveler to Aruba. It has the old caves, the natural pool, and a few other nice sights, but it's very dusty and the water is not safe for swimming (very turbulent and wild). The new natural pool is now advertised, but, I will tell you, I went and it was kind of a waste of time to be honest. I added some pictures.

Quite varied and beautiful. You can get around to most spots in the park with a car as long as you drive with a modicum of intelligence and are willing to walk the remainder in less trustworthy spots.
If you plan on visiting specific locations within the park, make note of hours of operation, as not everything is open later into the day.response / report this review -

This is a local gem, beatiful trails, the natural pool is the best and the the Jamanota which is the highest point on Aruba. We did the tour on electric fat bikes it was awesome!

We actually came here on two separate occasions, one where we drove through with a rental car and one on a hike. The rental car was a lot of fun, and even without a 4x4 jeep we got to see a lot of great things, like dos playas, and the caves. The park rangers were great tour guides who were more than happy to tell us the interesting history around us. Our hike was with another great guide, Rambo, who showed us some great stops, and took us on a really enjoyable hike through the hills. I high recommend setting aside a day or two for this park.

Drove through the park in a rental jeep. Got into the caves, which are fun to see, and in a few of the in-set beaches are amazing waves to watch crash in. Cost us $11 a person, which is pretty steep for a two hour drive through. You really should only go if you have a jeep or suv. Dirt roads and potholes can catch a smaller car.

Awesome guided tour in the caves. Make sure you bring plenty of water. A 4x4 is required to visit some parts of the park.
