We love the tamarijn. It has great vibe to it. Relaxed, fun, clean and well kept. But mostly it just never feels crowded. The beach is more wild than the high-rise beaches. More waves and coral and rocks here and there, but it just makes for a more interesting beach. The food is ok. After a week we always feel like we need a change of pace and need something different. And because it is an all inclusive going off resort for meals feels like you are paying twice. But they do a pretty good job with the food, all in all. The rooms are nice. Clean, well keep and pretty nice. They all face the ocean and either have a walk out patio it a deck that over looks the beach. Pretty awesome!

We had a wonderful time. The room was great and right on the beach. The maid service was very good. We ate mostly in the cafeteria style restaurant and the food was very good. Our fav hostess was Marina. We did enjoy one dinner at Ginger and it was excellent. Buses in to Oranjestadt are easily accessible. We took two excursions..an all day Jeep Safari. Would recommend the half day as the afternoon was only lunch and Baby Beach which was nice but not worth the extra time.

You get what you pay for. This all inclusive is worth the price. Staff was friendly they always have full staff working and they keep it as clean as possible. Ocean view for every room. All kinds of options to do fun stuff or just sit and have cocktails and relax on the beach. 2 resorts in 1 with the Divi 7 minutes walking distance away or take the shuttles. I will go back here in the future.

Divi Tam was beautiful. Rooms face the beach/ocean, just open your door and you are there! The staff is friendly and helpful. The guests are all friendly and happy. Can't wait to come back.

Food was good. Facility is widespread which means everyone gets a piece of the beach but is then quite far from the restaurants and bars. The Beach bar appeared dirty. In need of paint and a hot pressure wash. Was suited to adults. Divi, next door is better for families. Rooms were very clean.

This location has a good check in process. The food is not bad and included with stay. House staff were somewhat attentive. We noticed that the personnel did not speak regularly when walking the compound. There were a variety of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel room that were just great with food that was offered and the service personnel that was employed within the businesses. When we checked into the room, we found a basket of of flowers and a bottle of champagne waiting on the counter in the kitchen. The porter brought the luggage to the room on the golf cart and brought the items up the stairs for us upon arrival and departure from the room. We checked out the entire level of the room and found the jacuzzi on the third floor of the room with a view of the lagoon area. We were also able to see the fireworks show from the same level. The room was maintained daily and the towels were changed as we put them on the floor to be exchanged. We did have a bug in the room on one occasion, but it refused to leave and was terminated for cause. There was a small gekko lizard in the room that we allowed to stay as long as he didn't make any noises, plus he was hiding in the ceiling area out of reach. We were not that close to the front of the building, so we were able to catch a golf cart that regularly ran throughout the various hotels and parking lots picking us up and moving us to different eating places and entertainment venues. This location was walking distance to the beach front and the gym by just crossing the street. We were able to walk to the nearby downtown area in about 20 minutes or so or there are taxis for a few dollars to go.

Three stars because of the staff. I’m a vacation addict. The staff was a bit uptight. They were friendly but not the Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Trinidad friendly. I think everyone is just really hard working. As for the rooms they are a tad outdated especially when compared to the sister resort. The sister resort had better entertainment. Would I go back here? I think there are better and calmer beaches in the Caribbean. I like quiet but I also like to party.

Nice atmosphere, recently remodeled open bar area. Staff are generally friendly. We had an encounter with an unhelpful/disinterested bar tender. Not enough to sour us on the trip or the resort.

Tamarijn and Divi are sister resorts and share amenities, including beaches, restaurants, and bars. There are free golf cart shuttles that provide transportation between the resorts. You can also walk to either resort. Tamarijn is somewhat quieter and has smaller beaches than Divi.

We rented a car and took a self-guided tour of the north side of this small island. I would recommend something like this as the all-inclusive resorts do not let you experience the real feel of the island.

All-inclusive Hotel with nice location close to Oranjestad. Rooms were fine, beach beautiful, but sunbeds always reserved with towels. No empty sunbed enforcement by hotel. Should be improved. Beverage service was very good, almost only brand liquors! Very good staff!
Restaurants were good, however service sometimes slow and did not always remember all orders.
General atmosphere: I had the impression, that mostly north Americans seeking for all-day drinking went to this place. Not shabby at all, but no exclusive atmosphere or upscale place.

So this was the first place my wife and I ever stayed at in Aruba and we fell in love with the island and have been coming to the island for almost a decade. The beach here used to be amazing but after a few storms it's seen better days. As for the resort itself it has a brand new look and is very modern the staff and food are great.

Beautiful beach right out your bedroom door. The food was good and the choices were many. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and big enough for myself and our two teen children sons although somewhat on the small size for the four of us we didn't spend much time in the room with the beautiful beach and the nightly show and entertainment. The island itself has so much to offer as well. I highly recommend the hotel and the island.

This is a great all-inclusive resort, right on the beach! They have nightly entertainment by the pool where people can dance and have drinks. The restaurants there are really good (Ginger and I can't remember the other one). I would recommend this over the other Divi Golf resort, which is right across the street.

Tamajarin was good. The bartenders weren't overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. Aruba is amazing and you should totally go. I want to go back but will probably stay somewhere else. Not because anything was Horrible, but because nothing about it was Amazing (except for the steak dinner at the seafood restaurant)

I have stayed here 3 times. I love it. It is simple yet has something to offer everyone. It feels like home. The non motorized sports are included (including FREE windsurfing lessons)!!! My kids love the Kids Club. It is synonymous with Aruba!

The closest you can get to Paradise. Not as busy as the Highrise side. Perfect for families. The sea was only a few steps away from our patio door. Highly recommend it! Would love to go back again at some point!

    Loved it!

Fantastic all inclusive resort for those who like a relaxing peaceful vacation. Beautiful resort, rooms and landscape were extremely clean. Beautiful small boardwalk for walking throughout the resort. Location is incredible with all rooms being oceanfront and just steps from the water. Beaches not very crowded, some areas much more rocky than others but gorgeous large beaches just a short walk away. Always enough chairs which were well maintained available and tiki huts for shade. Buffet food was good, offered a good variety each meal. Was unable to try restaurants due to not making reservations in advance. Shuttles and bikes always available to transport around resort and to the sister resort, Divi (although we always chose to walk everywhere). Only complaint were the bars not opening until 11, had a room in the 2100 block and therefore the only place to even get water before that was at the main resort.
