This restaurant was sub-par at best. They sat us right away but we felt like we were in the middle of the aisle. Service was slow and meal was average. The waiter filling our water was the best part of the whole night. At least we didn’t go thirsty. For the money there are much better restaurants on the island.

Old time favorite restaurant for lunch and diner. Great meat selection good and friendly service. They have a full bar and good wine. I love sweetbreads and it is the only restaurant that serves it in Aruba.

A must. Great restaurant in Aruba and well worth finding. We had the lobster which was superb! It has a great ambience, there is a bar and staff are great and most attentive. Cloaks are spotless

What a dining experience! My family of 5 loved the food at El Gaucho. We all ordered steaks and were not disappointed. The service was a little slow, but the food was definitely worth the wait. We will be back the next time we are in Aruba!

Loved everything from the pickled onions to the porterhouse steak. D'Angelo and the staff were outstanding. Always a favorite stop when in Aruba!!

Best restaurant on Aruba in my opinion. Great steaks at a fairly reasonable price. Service is excellent. If you’re visiting Aruba it is definitely a great choice.

We've been to El Gaucho the last two times we visited Aruba about 5-8 years ago. The food was better than I remember it being. Absolutely amazing food and portion sizes. Our waiter was also VERY friendly and so nice. Will most definitely be back next time we visit. Highly recommend.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The rib appetizer was amazing. I was really impressed with the steaks for dinner as well. Service was friendly and attentive. If I ever go back to Aruba, this will be one of my first stops. A must visit for meat lovers.

If you are looking for steak a decent place to go. If you are decent at making steak at home then it will be about the same. Sides were goodspecial sauces too. Pricey and they always add 15% service charge. Expect to spend $50 US per mealbefore drinks apps or dessert.

Great service. Fantastic food. If you are a steak lover, this restaurant is for you! They specialize in Argentine style beef selections, and they don't disappoint. The Gaucho steak is big enough to split between two. The sides are fresh and well seasoned, especially the garlic broccoli and the corn on the cob. One of our favorite Aruba meals always.

A quite romantic spot just on the edge of downtown. Best steak I've ate in a very long time. All of are food was fantastic and well portioned. If you are visiting Aruba it is a must have before leaving. And a legend among the locals. To me it resembles the very peaceful Island. If you can't find it. ASK THE LOCALS they will help you.

The food was average. The filet mignon and beef ribs were tough. The chicken and pork ribs were good. The flavoring was good. I told the waiter this and he brought out another filet mignon. This one was better but salty. The service was good. I was disappointed with the food especially after all the good things I heard.

Wow. I ordered the trio, steak, pork and lamb and it was delicious, particularly the pork, I don't know where that pig came from but I wish they were all like him/her. But seriously credit to the chef, I think this is the first restaurant ever where I asked the waiter to pass on my delight to the chef.

I spent the previous 5 months backpacking South America so when I saw the prices (30-50 dollars a main) I was bit reluctant, but no regrets for my 45 dollar bill, possibly the best meat I've ever eaten.

My steak was great, but they were out of several items on the menu. Lobster tails and one of the cheesecake deserts. Understandable but would have been helpful to tell us when giving us the menus. It seemed like there were a lot of cruise ship passengers dining the night we were there. Over all not a bad meal but definitely not the highlight of our trip.

Best steak I have ever eaten hands down. The El Gaucho grill masters know what they are doing. If you can reserve a table ahead of time do it, it's always packed.

I love the big juicy steaks. The bread is delicious and the desserts are amazing. Especially the caramel crepe. It's a bit pricy but I always end up leaving with a doggie bag so it's worth it.

We had reservations - our table was right on time, ready when we got there. Staff was excellent and the food was amazing!
We both ordered the 8oz filets (tenderloins) and they were one of the best we ever had.
Cooked to perfection, no grizzle and lots of flavor! 5 stars all the way. We will be back again before we leave!!

Such a disappointment. Friendly staff at first and we got seated pretty quick. The prices of the steaks are insane and the beef parts you pick don't represent the right parts of the cow. Lots of fat around the beef and it was poorly prepared; very salty and the beef was serviced at the wrong temperature (slightly cold). The chef appeared to have problems preparing the stake as requested; some parts were rare, some medium rare. Wouldn't go again wasted lots of money and walked out hungry. (Shared this feedback with the staff)

Best steak I have ever had! No joke! The true beef masters here know what they are doing. And they make their own steak sauce which is amazing! I asked around when we got in town and every person said this was the best place to eat. They lived up to the reputation.
