Quaint small resort, yet service was fast friendly and with a smile. The room was spacious clean, etc. The food at mangos was very good and lunch on the beach at passions bar was delicious. Son loved the chicken skewers with peanut sauce. The beachwhat to say, great. Not crowded at all! Since the resort is at the northern end of the beach, there was plenty of umbrellas to choose from. While the price is a bit high compared to the large resorts, not being crowded is a huge plus in my book. In the morning I went down with a bag with a few things in it sunscreen etc. Got the towels of the day from the attendant, picked a spot. Hung the bag on the umbrella, he set the chairs up and I went back to my room to get the family and have breakfast..then beach where everything was already setup for us. Aruba is Windy..very windy and was surprisingly cloudy.. but, I will go back again, and again.

Very clean, well kept, beautiful ocean view, people are very friendly and welcoming. Dinner at the Mango's restaurant was DELICIOUS! But if you plan on eating dinner there, don't go when everyone else is there, go early in the night. My family and I waited 3 hours. But it was so worth it because food and drinks were amazing! Hotel is very clean. Beds are decent (for comfyness)

We stayed with the Amsterdam Manor on our recent trip to Aruba for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Upon arrival we were greeted with rum punch and a bottle of champagne in our room. All the staff was extremely accommodating. The beach is a short walk across the street and is absolutely beautiful, probably the best I have ever visited. There is a bar and restaurant on the beach and more than enough stands to provide shade, so no reason to leave. The food was terrific at all the restaurants on site, in particular Passions, where we enjoyed surf and turf in the sand. The rooms were well kept and spacious. And it didn't hurt that they had three different happy hours throughout the hotel! We loved it here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Excellent staff. Beautiful view of Eagle Beach. Two bedrooms n kitchen. Never had any problems getting our 'spot, chairs, or towels' on the beach. Surprised us with Champagne to celebrate two birthdays. One on Saturday n one on monday, yep 2 bottles of champagne. If you are going to Eagle Beach this is where you will want to stay.

Fantastic hotel that provides a laid back vibe when compared to the high-rise hotel area. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite on the 2nd floor that provided incredible views of the beach and ocean. The room was huge and quite modern with a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. The staff is excellent, especially Peter and Giovanny, our favorite bartenders. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

This is a great small hotel with rooms from studio to three bedrooms. The studio we stayed in had a well stocked kitchenette with most items you need for your stay. The rooms can use some TLC as most hotels do. The staff here is exceptional. Some of the most friendly I have met. The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach that is clean, with pure white sand and not crowded.

When we go back this will be the only place we will stay. Our suite was amazing with a view of the ocean. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and sincere. We were greeted each day warmly and they knew our names.
One word of caution, the concierge is not affiliated with Amsterdam Manor and simply leases space to have a desk in their lobby. We had several instances of behavior less than completely honest by the young man working at the concierge desk. He was removed for additional training. So hopefully everything is up to snuff now.
In the meantime the front desk personnel were more than happy to make recommendations on places to eat and things to see and were even eager to make phone calls to place reservations and hail a cab.

Location is excellent, place is spotless, staff festive and helpful, Passions is a nice restaurant on the sand. Room exceeded expectations. You will need a car or take a bus to get to other areas of interest, but that's what makes this place special. My wife and I have already decided to return there for another vacation.

This is a beautiful island and the natives are so friendly. This is our first time here and pray it is not the last. Amsterdam Manor is the perfect spot, not over crowded at all. You do not have to walk around people with every step. The staff here is very accommodating, warm and friendly. We would stay here again wo hesitation. This is our 18th anniversary and through in a nice bottle of champagne.

Love being so close to the beach, Eagle Beach is not too crowded, rooms are spacious with comfortable living areas, kitchenette and great views!! Highly recommend, I would definately pick Amsterdam Manor again!

Visited in May and couldn't be happier with the treatment and level of service from everyone throughout the resort! Unfortunately I broke my ankle while in Aruba & had to cut our vacation short! Will definitely be planning a redo for next year.

My husband and I visited Aruba at the end of March for 2 weeks.
We stayed at the Amsterdam Manor and had a great time. The staff were wonderful, especially Kenton.
From the minute we got there, Kenton was very informative, friendly and down to earth.
He thoroughly showed us our room and the amenities of the Hotel.
Any time we needed a recommendation, Kenton was always helpful.

You are treated like a queen here. Best location & hotel. Best place for the money. Hotel is very nice, clean, quality. You have everything you need: kitchen w/ everything, balcony to see the ocean or eat or just enjoy. There is nothing missing. They even have shampoo & body wash dispensers. At the beach they have water floaters and free towels for us. Hotel is in between the beach and the supermarket. Since food is expensive (meals run $27 USD and up) It is very convenient that the main and best supermarket is right behind the hotel. The supermarket has everything you need and more. They ship fresh every day and there are a lot of American brand foods and well as a lot of European brand foods. The island itself is very European. Everything is walkable but you can also take the bus to the center or to palm beach $2.75. You don't need local money you can use USD. Taxis are expensive - cost was $22 from the airport which is just +/- 6 miles.

Very friendly staff, very comfortable rooms, great views and access to the beach. The rooms are a bit small and there were no cutting board in our kitchenette. Small complaints for an otherwise great stay.
