Worked well for a place to sleep. Rooms are small, but it was no issue with 3 people. View wasn't bad either.
Stayed here for work. They booked it because it's cheap. One step above a hostel. It's OK, but 3 weeks is too long to stay here.
The reception staff were friendly, the room was clean and it was the cheapest Syd accom I could find apart from a hostel. Noisy indeed, and a lovely view of the train tracks from my window. The air con didn't work and the shower door was hard to open and close. But you can open the windows. Lots of travellers staying here, with free WiFi and breakfast included. The WiFi was pretty OK, a bit slow at times.
It is a good hotel for the price. It is close to the station. I was worried because there was a saying that cockroach came out in the review, but it did not come for 4 days to stay.
Great location, quiet even though it's near the trains. Decent free breakfast
Very affordable stay in Sydney. The place is very tidy and clean, rooms are also very tidy and clean. I have stayed there many times.
This is a good value for money. There are things that could be done better here, like the daily cleaning of the room, the breakfast, and fixing some overall things in the room. However, I highly recommend this hotel if you want a friendly staff, a good night of sleep (bed is reasonably good here), a place close to the subway/metro station, and a cheaper price compare to Sydney hotel standards. I enjoyed it.
Small but tidy. Clean and exactly what you would expect for the price. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice surprise.
Rooms were neat and tidy. Location is very convenient and the staff is very friendly.
So noisy, right next to the train tracks. Probably fair value for money, but definitely a tired old hotel.
Look for the price and location this place was okay.
I didn't have a problem with the room, yes it's small and just what I expected for Sydney as they have huge accommodation price's so it wasn't a shock.
I can see it would be a shock for other's who have never visited Sydney.
Visiting a friend at the hotel. It seemed to have been renovated recently. It's very clean and modern inside, with facilities you would expect from a budget accommodation. Also note they changed their name.
If you want a clean spacious hotel, or at least a place without scuff marks all over the walls, broken window blinds, holes in the carpet or scum on the shower tiles, I recommend staying somewhere else. For the price we are paying, this is not worth it. Even in Sydney. We are very disappointed. In addition, we were told they hotel was 300m from central station (the main reason we chose to stay here). It was not 300m. We walked about 1.6km to the hotel in 40 degree heat. We are 300m from the tracks, not the station. So we can hear the trains through our walls all night.
