I just wanna say "thankyou so much" from the bottom of my heart to those staff that were so helpful in making sure I received my prescription glasses through express post. Their service and professionalism is second to none. Your honesty is worth mentioning!!

Great location & much better fit-out. The rooms were dated when it was Rydges, but a face-lift has brought back up to standard.

Booked an area months ago, having been told they wouldn't charge us to reserve a few tables. This was important to us to secure and when we looked to reconfirm the booking later on, we were told that manager is no longer there and they won't honor the original agreement, which is a poor show in my opinion.
I'm sure Eventhouse are doing a decent enough job generally but my personal experience has been very poor which is a shame.response / report this review -

First time staying, checked out today. The view is amazing, close to the beach. However, extremely disappointed with the breakfast this morning. Everything in the buffet was stone cold, I don't know anyone that likes eating cold bacon and scrambled eggs. I suggest anyone staying here to not have the breakfast and go to a restaurant or cafe nearby where the breakfast will be hot for the same price.

Very neat rooms. Very nicely designed and aesthetically pleasing wall mounted TV. However, TV being flush with the wall meant I couldn't plug in my hdmi cable

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was fantastic, room service was quick and the catered food for our conference was amazing. Our only complaint was how cold the room was which was dealt with very quickly, a heater was given to us and the maintenance was alterted the next day. Eventhouse Cronulla was great.

My daughter and I stayed overnight in an ocean view room, taking advantage of a Groupon deal which included a welcome drink, parking and buffet breakfast the following day. What great value this was! We thought the whole hotel had been tastefully refurbished, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We made use of the complimentary bikes which was a further bonus to what was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Keep up the great work Eventhouse Cronulla.

Elegant simplicity by the beach. Recently rebranded from Rydges to Event house, and the refurb is excellent. We received a warm familiar greeting at check-in. The room is spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking Cronulla beach. The Breakfast buffet is very well done, not enormous and pushy, rather tasteful with everything you need including delicious gluten free chocolate protein balls. Yum! I recommend joining the free loyalty program for discounts on future stays. What a great weekend.

I travel all over NSW for business and stay in a lot of hotel/motels and this place value for money would be the worst place I've stayed by far. Stayed in room 409 below are the issues.
Shower floods
No Ironing board and when I called for one it took 30 mins!
Carpet stains on floor are disgusting
Room smells like mould maybe from the flooding shower!
Queen bed was on such an angle you nearly roll out on the floor. Stayed in one of the 2 singles!
Towels were dirty and had holes in them!

But parking isn't good.
Too much noise from air-conditioner and noise from outside is bad.

Nice staff, good views! The air conditioner didn't really work that well which made the room really hot and there was no toilet paper on our arrival.
