Extremely disappointing reception service, my wife made a booking for 3 nights and I called to reconfirm and some lady named Karen answered the phone and spoke very rudely, totally unacceptable so I immediately hung up and cancelled the booking right away if the reception is that bad how worst would be the the service in there!!! Pretty glad that I called and got the chance to know how awful the service is before having to experience it.

Stayed couple of nights with family here. Friendly courteous staff, perfect location - close to all amenities, St Leonard's park is just opposite, enjoyed my runs both days.

Downside is internal, carpet is stinky & old, rooms are small & beds in deluxe room are not adjoining, fridge was constantly grunting causing disturbance to sleep, toilet & shower facilities are Ok

Awfull room stunk of mould, room wasn't cleaned before us going in, dryer didn't work Tv didn't work 90% of the time, every night my daughter woke up with a wet patch I'm guessing from a leak in the roof owners didn't really care on the last night they didn't even bother to set up my daughters bed but charged us for it would never stay again.

Lovely historic building. 20 minutes walk to North Sydney train station. Bus stops (both ways) less than a minute's walk.
Rooms are a little run down and in need of some TLC. In my room the shower plug smelled pretty bad and the bathroom fan sounded like it was going to fall though the ceiling!
Bed was comfy. Rooms are serviced every day. Tea, coffee and milk restocked every day.
Less than half the price of the bigger more modern hotels.
I'd stay there again.

Spent 2 nights at the north shore hotel and I was disgusted. The rooms were filthy, I could barley see myself in the mirror! Floors hadn't been vacuumed. The parking was up the road in an apartment complex which had rubbish piled high everywhere. I also paid $15 for the internet for 24 hours and it didn't even work. The place had very noisy guests. Would NEVER stay here again!

Not very sound proof rooms. Shared boarding house next door and they liked to party all night. Room dank and needed repairs. Don't be fooled regarding parking. Parking is about 3 buildings away in a unit complex car park.

Good value for a price. Internal laundry, hopeful service. Could be cleaner but got can't get everything.
