Good quality produce and plenty of choice. One of the best shopping food stores in the area.

The preferable one for me. Friendly and helpful staff and bus station close to it.

Looking great after the renovations, plus you no longer have to queue at the checkout so much since they added the self-servixe checkouts. Seems to be always busy, but the place is big enough that there's never any trouble getting around.

Do not like the new layout and style at all. You'd think that revamping an entire store that they'd make more space around the self checkouts instead of squeezing people into a bottle neck, especially if they have trollies.

It seems they have tried to renew their whole interior to a mashup of retro style and edgy signage, but all they've succeeded in doing is making part of the overall feel daggy with the lettering on the walls indicating fruit, meat etc and cringeworthy labels of their fruit stalls ie:bananarama??

There are tacky little "market garden" stalls in random places + all the aisles have gone back to the tired/washed up/clumbsy feel of a suburban 90's Woolies.

The whole national corporate advertising on display does not mesh well with the way the store has re-presented itself, and sends out a confusing and conflicting show of uniformity.

I'm yet to encounter any staff member behind the delicatessen counter who makes a customer feel welcome, no enthusiasm, and you get the feeling you're a hindrance to their life. However all other staff members appear pleasant enough.

Im unsure as to why they would change a snappy, modern , good looking store, such as they had not 3 months ago.

So many things poorly designed, interpreted and thought out.

(Big) swing and a miss, Woolworths Subiaco

The store is cleaning and has a relatively good range for a smaller store. Free underground parking is good. However one time I was buying 6 packets of cinnabata rolls and a member of staff came up to tell me off. Apparently that if you are to buy that quantity you need to call ahead because they only have one oven. This leads me to believe that if you come later in the day you will unlikely be able to buy bread rolls. This will not be a problem for much longer as a coles is being constructed across the road so if one shop has run out you can go across the road

Has all you need for a quick shop with fresh produce. Has 90 minutes free parking included which is useful. Watch out for hawkers lurking about outside trying to extract you direct-debit, be friendly but move on very quickly.
