No parking charges- unlike SJOG hospital
Any time can visit. Can bring eateries.
had a blood test there this morning. the nurse is very nice.
The nurses and all of the staff are great here :)
I had the honor of completing a one week clinical placement at this facility. Nowhere else have I encountered such loving and caring staff (nurses, surgeons, anesthetists etc) as here in Bentley. Very clean and professional hospital.
Doctors making different decisions in my wife's labour, second doctor changed first doctor's treatment, after 12 hours changed back! This all happened during labour! Finally blame the machine didn't show accurate results. And their machine made mistakes in 24 hours twice.all these doctors know nothing more than google, and make advice depands on incorrect machine reports. I even suspect they just blame machine for avoiding embarrassing themselves. Midwives say things without any idea, seems they only repeat machine again and again!
I had the experience of a day procedure at Bentley Hospital recently. The staff, nurses and doctors were very pleasant and professional at all times and able to communicate effectively at both the clinical and personal levels. From casual observation previously and my experience that day they worked as and clearly enjoyed being part of a team. They made me feel very comfortable and put in a very much appreciated effort to ensure the experience was pleasant and memorable. The hospital has good parking and is easily accessible. Any time in the future I might need to attend Bentley again it will be in the knowledge they provide the best care, and then some.
Bentley is one of Perth's older public hospitals and is primarily focused on aged, community and mental health. It has no emergency department. Some surgery is still conducted here. The staff are dedicated to the local community despite the constant threat of closure. They (and the site) deserve our support.
I don't understand why these ppl giving Bentley hospital maternity unity and staff 5 stars. Because I gave birth to my baby boy on October 2014 and it was the worst place to be in and the staff was not helpful at all he all nurses notify me that there will be no help at night and they never come to check me and never even help to bring for my baby or anything I needed where I had very bad stitches and I was asked to walk to kitchen to do everything for my baby.
I got shocked when just after I delivered my baby an Asian looking nurse came up to me and with a very loud voice asking me to come down from the delivery bed by myself where I was totally numb because of the epidural injection and I listen to her went down which made me to fall on the floor almost but my husband luckily was close to help me.
I just hate to be there and staff was very very rude and unhelpful I don't recommend this place at all to even to my enemies. And the doctor who did my stitches never came back next day to check the condition. Actually no one even bother to come and my my condition next day. The problem was it was my first baby and I later on found out about how unfair the staff was with me at Bentley hospital.
Delivered my baby boy on 23/11/16 CS. Thanks to all the doctor's for my successful operation Thanks to all the midwifes who looked after me and my baby during our stay in the hospital. The cleaner and kitchen staff as well. They are very friendly. God bless them allxxx
I gave a birth 27th of June 2016 in Bentley hospital. Highly recommend to anyone. Best staff I have ever seen in WA hospitals. Even though that was my second baby midwives guide me through even small things. Such a fantastic staff.
