It’s easily accessible from Sydney’s Circular Quay by ferry. The location is magnificent, hotel is right on Watson's Bay, 100m from the water, there is playground and park in front of hotel (Robertson park) it's good for kids Robertson Park in Watsons Bay has a terrific playground, shaded and fenced too. Plus there are lots of other fun places to visit in watsons Bay.
Good venue for functions of up to 50. Great views of the harbour from the top deck. Lots of difficulty with parking as there was a market on next door at the park. Not sure what it's like when there is no market.
We arrived with a booking at 11am and that worked well for a large group. It gets busy later in the day. Prime spot by the water, and not too far away from a park and playground if you have kids. Food and beverage service was pretty fast. Ferry to the doorthat's the way to travel if you can.
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay over night and well worth the price. Lunch is great and the food is served extremely quick, drinks as pretty much standard but not a huge place I'd say for cocktails. Would definitely recommend for everyone, just wish they could keep the seagulls away but that's Australia for you.
Stunning spot. Brilliant staff. Great food. What more do you want!? :-)
Beautiful views into the harbour, great for a sunset. Lots of good drinks, standard pub food. Suitable place to visit from your first date till you become a family. Be aware in the summer parking is limited, ferry service is intermittent so plan accordingly.
Wonderful service from Felicity and Christina when we checked in - above and beyond, before we even asked. Rooms are clean even by MY standards, and I'm pretty demanding Good food etc too of course. Adjacent to the dock for ferries. Worth every $.
I went to the waterfront restaurant for a Sunday lunch with my family and really enjoyed the location. It's a stunning beach and the restaurant takes full advantage of the scenery with lots of large windows, balconies and front veranda. The salmon was excellent, but fish and chip options are priced well above what they should be. The service can be slow as this is a large structure made of interconnecting buildings. The Beach Club beside the restaurant is a cool and trendy option for drinks and nibbles, if you can find a table (be there early on weekends). It's THE place to sip cocktails in a summer afternoon.
Great food, beers and views. Good for people watching and cheaper than Doyle's next door. Service was swift and polite. Great for access to the ferry and the bus, up the hill. Watch out for seagulls and please, please don't feed these flying pests! They are a nightmare on a hot summers day and they encourage the birds to steal food from kids.
Not sure if the chef has changed or where these other reviewers ate. Went there for lunch today having a day out with the hubby. Great location but the food was very poor and not cheap. One dish both of us could not even share it was that bad. Cant go to wrong with very basic fish and chips but for $25 ? so we did manage to eat. Very disappointed after looking forward to going there. Would have stayed for a couple more drinks but left. Won't be hurrying back.
No place better in Sydney to sit and watch the sun set over a cold one. The wings were off the chain!! Pretty interesting that you have to head to the kitchen to collect your food when it's ready
Delicious food and amazing view. Good spot to have a couple drinks. Even though it's just off the beach and you can walk in with thongs, the place does seem a bit pretentious. Girls get so overly dressed up to come here, like F off to the Ivy if you're gonna do that..
Perfect for all occasions this hotel has stunning rooms however the noise from the pub downstairs can be heard all night. Not ideal for kids but if you're planning on enjoying a few drinks and some music you'll find a friendly crowd downstairs. Beach located near by and and bar, food and entertainment a few steps down!
You must go to this place! Love it!!! Food is great and service is excellent.
Sitting on top looking out towards the city with amazing views. You can drive there with a good amount of parking. Catching the Ferry from circular quay you'd much rather.
