  Very clean rooms and facilities. Fun "events" nightly. Very friendly and helpful staff. Don't come here for relaxation though, it is definitely party focused

  Wake up in Sydney is a great place. The hostel has a lot of good facilities and its location is perfect. Close to shopping centres and close to the Opera house and final the habour. You can go to most off eveything. Furthermore the hostel makes a lot of good activities which make it possible for you to be social with many new people. I differently recommend the hostel!

  Wake Up is a great hostel to stay. I stayed there for 3 nights and I had a great experience, the staff is really friendly. Every day they've got different leisure activities including parties, tours, beach walks. It's really worth it, great value for money!!

  Wake up Sydney was above and beyond anything I could have expected. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the rooms were comfortable and the location couldn't be better for connections around the city. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is on a budget but would happily use it myself as the place to stay...

  Building and rooms were very clean and updated. The staff is amazing here! Very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend to any young traveler

  Stayed at Wake Up! for a month and a half in Sydney and loved my time there. Many who hang around the hostel so it's a great place to meet other travellers but also a comfortable place to live for working in the city and coming back to just take it easy. Also great that it's just above Sidebar so a night out couldn't be easier!

  With Sydney's hotel prices going crazy. This place offer reasonable options at ok price. It's not fancy, but the private rooms are quite nice and clean. The location is just fabulous!

  Lovely hostel. Reasonably priced. Great amenities, comfy beds, clean toilets and good hot water. I only removed a star for their laundry services. Just go to a laundromat it would be far cheaper. Took us 24 dollars to wash and dry one load.

  Great location. Inviting and open atmosphere when you walk in. Attached to side bar which means good times are right beside you. Downside is that it can get loud. Rooms are nice, perfect with power plugs right beside the bed.

  Two week minimum stay in a mixed 8 bed over Xmas.
  
  Quite a new hostel, well air conditioned and we'll located. The bar downstairs is pretty good day and night.
  
  Had high expectations not fully met. For a hostel of that size, the kitchen is tiny. The feeling amongst guests is that this is a ploy to send you downstairs to buy food. During this busy time food was getting damaged, moved and stolen.
  
  Security are over zealous at times but this is probably a Sydney/NSW issue. Although when your roommates are told off for talking in corridors and the same night the staff dorm next door is shouting and drinking late in the night with no action... You don't feel looked after.
  
  And the PA shouting wake up wake up in the mornings and evenings is intrusive, ppl come into your room to try and promote the bar anyway so why do both?
  
  Young party crowd will love this place and it has a lot to offer them. Older travellers or those needing a rest, stay clear.

  Place seems pretty clean, the kitchen is equipped, and most important of all the price is right. I'm new to hostels, and the Lack of privacy isn't really my wife's thing. Mine either, I'll probably look for an air bnb next time. (Unless it's closer to our last hostel that had private bathrooms). Aside from that, good location and as far as a hostel, it seems to be great.
