  I have been buying from Les at Alltools Thomastown for about 4 years now. He has a vast selection of quality tools. Very helpful staff. I think I chatted to almost all of them yesterday. Les (Owner) is a great guy who loves to talk so we got along right away. I live and work in inner Melbourne so I travel past dozens of his competitors. The fact I drive for 35-40min just to buy here is a testament to their service and advice. There is always a little flex on pricing and Les will find a way to make you feel happy with your purchase. Thanks Guys you are awesome!

  I have been using the excellent and attentive services of United Tools Thomastown for a number of years now. Michael always goes above and beyond in researching the unique requests I bring on multiple occasions. All the staff there are friendly, helpful and knowledgable; and their service doesn't waver whether I'm spending $30 or $3000.

  After spending thousands of dollars in previous occasions, when brought up a better comparison price they refused to acknowledge their price matching policy, not only that but the attitude was terrible all along. I purchased anyways as I was in a rush and it was a petty $40 price difference over a 2k+ purchase, , but oh boy! not coming back!

  Rude and incompetent staff from the first to last, through the owner. Seem like a shop taken from a couple decades ago where a remotely satisfying customer service was not a must. SKIP THIS PLACE FROM YOUR LIST, GO ELSEWHERE

  These people laughed at me when compared purchasing conditions to other shops and literally told me to go and buy elsewhere. I was requesting to place a special order with paying 20% that accounts for restocking fee in case I change my mind, they said that unless I pay in full no go, I said this is common practice and if I changed my mind, even if I pay you in full you are only entitled to keep the 20% and are obliged to refund the remaining, they literally cracked laughing and sent me off. Even if that is your preferred business practice, it was an offending way to deal with the situation and I will never ever put a foot into that empty-of-customer-shop.

  Extremely knowledge and great price. I'm not a tradesman and the service I got from Michael was excellent. He didn't make me feel like an idiot like other intimidating places. I didn't even spend a lot of money and was given 5 star service from him and other staff members that even opened the door for my pram. I will also be buying from here from now on because there's always someone there to serve you. If I was a tradesman I would want to get in and out to get back on the job. No inferior brands either. Top business.

  DO NOT buy from these people. When the tool fails 7 weeks after purchasing it they couldn't care less - be warned - stay away from them
