So very happy that I chose Tower Audio Moorabbin for my car audio upgrade.
Chris was so helpful and understanding of my needs.
I could not find another provider of this service, and I did search extensively, that was willing to inform me in such detail, and in a manner that I could understand.
Chris took the time to explain all the outcomes and possibilities to me, and he quoted me a very fair price that he stuck to, even though he provided a few extras.
It pays to check out small businesses, rather than just going with the bigger companies that are often profit oriented rather than service oriented. I am so glad I did.
My car is now audio compliant, (that means no fines) with all the whizz-bang you could think of.

Chris installed a new audio system and rear camera in my Hyundai I30. He has a great knowledge of different systems and I am so happy with the new one he recommended. Chris did a great job and I would highly recommend using his service.

Had my Ute in there over a year ago wrong speakers where installed to what I was quoted for. 2 days later speakers where crackling found out the wiring was not done properly. Also found damage done to my door trim internally. I’ve redone the complete system in the car including a head unit subs and amp along with bigger speakers I would not recommend Chris work to anyone very rough job.

I have been a Tower Audio customer since 2002 and have had a number of jobs done from an alarm system to multiple stereo / amp / sub installs in various vehicles.

The owner, Chris, is the most experienced car audio person I've ever met or dealt with.

He outlines exactly the work he is going to do and provides the cost for the work he does, which is of an exceptionally high standard.

I just had some re-wiring done on my VXR because some hack had bodged it up in the past and Chris fixed it all without an issue.

If you want the best quality car audio gear with a professional installation, then I highly recommend Tower Audio!

Booked my car in with Chris to get a front camera installed. Chris provided various options to suit my budget & was very accommodating. Chris is worth is weight in gold. From his knowledge & experience, down to his attention to detail - I was super impressed with Chris & the work he did. I didn’t expect the camera to be hidden so well.

Uninterested, dismissive, condescending. Only interested in replacement of all components at full price and 3 X the price of labour as competitors. Quoted $700 to wire my new 2 channel amplifier into the factory radio plus parts (Already had amp wiring cable including fuse) Advised that a passive subwoofer enclosure i acquired wouldn't be suitable because it was secondhand. Its a MDF box with a driver in it that i tested was working fine. Worth noting i had a competitor install the amplifier to the factory radio for $150 took him him 40mins

I have just had Apple car play installed by Tower Audio, as well as a reverse camera in my 2011 Toyota Hilux. I have had an incredibly impressive experience. They are incredibly knowledgeable in all things cars, in particular audio/camera. The craftsmanship/attention to detail is meticulous. The customer service is excellent, providing honest solutions to my needs. The care they showed to ensure I understood the system and how to use it after it was installed, was exceptional. I would highly recommend this company. Just a wonderful experience.

Had a new audio system installed with additional security camera. I highly recommend this business, father and son duo (Chris and Michael.) I shopped around at 4-5 businesses at first but Chris’s knowledge was exceptional. He made suggestions no one else did and in the end it was a great job. Neat work and a system that really got me value for money. I’ve waited 3-4 months to write this as I wanted to really test out my system. It’s made my car such a great place to be now. Thank you guys.

I went to Tower Audio recently to purchase a touch screen stereo. Chris went through a range of products with me and helped me choose a Pioneer system with a sub and an amp. He really knows his products and his service was first class too! I was so impressed that when I went to pick up my car that Chris took the time to pair my phone up to the system and even showed me how to use it! I am sooooo happy with this thumping sound system and I highly recommend these guys! Thanks so much Chris!

Got a sub amp and head unit installed. Had nothing but trouble. They didn't screw it down to the floor "because they didn't wanna put holes in my boot" really translates to couldn't be bothered. And apparently ran out of the screws that hold the power adapter to the unit. So the plug drops out whilst I'm driving. And now the unit doesn't even work at all. All in all they're just lazy and very unprofessional will never go here again or recommend them to anyone.

This is the only way I could reply back to you. I do not use my real last name online for my privacy, the amp/ sub are in one box. So no its not under a seat. Its in my boot rolling around freely. The brand is Vibe. It has a quick release plug. It is meant to have 4 screws to hold it in place. You guys put in 2. So the quick release plug falls out of place and loses power to the sub/ amp. I would bring it back. But I tried that once and was told there is nothing that can be done by you guys amd id have to buy the other 2 screws myself. But that didnt stop it from constantly dropping out on me. So after wasting $1200+ on installation and product. Its now useless. You can try and brush this off as a fake review all you want. Doesn't change the fact you run a dodgy business that cannot do a proper installation

I had shopped around at a few stores to try and find quility of work for a fair price, and nothing compared to the service, knowledge and quility of work that I recieved from Chris at tower, he spent plenty of time with me helping me secure a system that was right for me, loved the work he did when I came to pick it up and then he even sat with me and helped me learn to use it and guide me through the system I had Brought. I would highly recomend if your looking for a sound system see the guys down at tower audio!

Went I to compare prices and speak to someone who would he able to give me a good idea of what was happening. The man I spoke to seemed to know what he was talking about but was very rude and arrogant. I was considering taking my install from another company and bringing it to him but after the treatment I received from a man, who claimed to be a teacher at holmsglen tafe, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone who isn't willing to be belittled only to spend almost double what his competitors are charging. Knows his stuff, no customer service. Just enjoys the sound of his own voice.

Updated: went to other local fitters in the area and they told me that they had had heard of several similar complaints about this shop. Although I was told that the fitters are exceptional while the main man is not.

One of my friend's told me about the Tower Audio. He told me that they have good experts to install alarms and audio systems for any cars. I was surprised with the working system and functionality of my car alarm as well as audio system. Really I am very happy with this product. The price is also reasonable to everyonel. I will recommend this. Thanks for providing these type of products.
