100% would recommend Rilten. Took us in last minute due to a family emergency. Were so kind and understanding. Made sure to get as many details about our cat and dog as possible to keep them happy.

We put our beautiful German Shepherd in for 3 nights The staff were friendly Max was pleased to see us on pick-up but not distressed At a kennel (not local ) he was so distressed on pick-up it took us ages to settle him Thankyou for your care

My golden retriever had a great stay here over Christmas/New Year. She was paired with another dog and all went well. I found the staff to be helpful, kind and patient. It was my dogs first stay and I couldn’t fault the experience. I will be booking again for Easter break. Thank you Darby especially for her knowledge and friendly nature.

Rilten Kennels have refused to honour their advertised price. Their website clearly says $36 per day for a large dog. There is a mention of higher rates for Christmas, but no mention of higher rates at other times. But when I asked about a seven week booking, I was told it straddled the September school holidays so a much higher rate would apply. I queried this and they said they would not honour the rate on the website because peak rates would apply, despite them not being mentioned anywhere. They even had the cheek to tell me to book through the website. I will take my custom to a kennels that does not try to cheat their customers.

I am changing my original review due to threats of legal action by the owners (yes they threatened me to legal actions by their deep pocket insurance for my review!). I left my poor Fandough with these guys naively hoping to pick him up in a few days happy as usual, but picked him up from the nearby clinic in a coma, with no one from the kennel present to explain! he suffered seizures for hours, went into a coma and suffered severe brain damage while he was under the care of riltenkennels. The vets diagnosis was most likely he wasn't fed properly and ate too little. He spent three days in advanced hospital, became blind, deaf, forgot how to walk and at the end of three days lost ability to swallow and couldn't even be fed by a syringe anymore. Their argument: they didn't literally kill the poor boy, no one intentionally killed him, it just happened to happen while he was with riltenkennels! there are many other kennels around this area, you may be one of the few lucky ones, or you may have to say goodbye. DON'T RISK IT.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Ritlen Kennels.
Honestly, from the moment I dropped my beloved pooch off,
to the time I picked him up,
I was nothing short of impressed.

The professional manner in which I was checked in, coupled with the ongoing updates during his stay, was nothing short of 5 Star.
I have frequented other kennels in the past, but I can say that the reference I was given to go here, was one that certainly didn't disappoint.

I highly recommend anyone seeking 5 star service, reliability, value for money, and total peace of mind, to make there next stop RILTEN KENNELS..

Fantastic!! I left my Cavoodle, Charlie, here for the first time two years ago and he absolutely loves it!
It was good to see that when I returned a short time later, the staff all recognised Charlie and were happy to welcome him back. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
