This was the first time I had my pup stay at a doggy day care. I was very happy from start to finish. They obviously take a lot of pride in getting to know each dog, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I absolutely LOVED the webcam facility, I hope they add more in the future! The add on's are also a great idea and help me to know my pet is being taken care of and having as much fun as she would at home (probably even more!). I can't thank you enough.

I absolutely love this place! I have never had a more helpful, caring and friendly place to leave my dogs and cat whilst I have to go away. They always come back clean and smelling wonderful - best of all, the dogs are tired from playing! :) My cat is never stressed when he stays either :)
I would recommend these guys to anyone! They're always able to help me out - even if it's super last minute. I love the webcam as well as I can keep track of what they're up to when I'm not around.
I appreciate the extra things you can book in because one of my dogs loves running around with her friends and the other loves to cuddle with the staff members - keeps them both happy this way!

By far the worst service i have received by pets hotel. i have previously sent my toy poodle to this hotel and when i picked him up he ended up having kennel cough after only spending one night there.
After that experience I had my reservations of sending my 6 month Pomeranian there, but after desperately seeking accommodation for my dog before i traveled interstate this was my only option.
When i dropped my puppy off, the staff member declined to take her as they believed she was not up to her current vaccinations. Explaining to them that i have already sent her to multiple doggy day cares in Victoria, and those companies have had no issues with her vaccinations i did not understand why she was not allowed to stay. The staff member was rude, unhelpful and did not listen to my explanations and spoke to me in a condescending manner. She struggled to problem solve the matter and did not ask any other staff members for any help.
Luckily enough i was able to drop my dog at Diggiddydoggydaycare, they were so helpful and understanding and were able to explain to me the vaccination process and that my dog was fully vaccinated.
Later that day, after having to call back Pets Hotel to understand why they read my dogs vaccination history wrong, the supervisor advised me that his staff members did read the information wrong and that they would train their staff better.
There only compensation they could offer was a free bath, or free play time. For me, this isn't good enough after ruining my morning and having to personally follow up myself on the matter.
From the experience i have had, i would not trust the business or staff to look after my dogs considering they were unable to read information correctly. The staff were unhelpful, and did not go to any measures to help rectify my bad experiences with them. They spoke to me in manner that was rude and unsympathetic to the situation.
Incredibly disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.response / report this review -

If you thought you were handing over your pooch for the Pet's Hotel to take care of, you probably should know:
Under no circumstances will The Pets Hotel or its employees be held responsible for Canine or Feline influenza, illness, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind that may occur to your pet while in the care of the Hotel. ~ per their website
I didn't know this, so given all these wonderful - ahem - fake reviews, I gladly handed over all my personal information on the phone and also lodged their booking form online.
After that, I received their friendly questionnaire: a document with 50+ questions which has to be printed, scanned and emailed back to them. This questionnaire asks everything from when/where you acquired your dog, to how often you are currently exercising your pooch.
How and what type of training has your dog had? Has he ever growled at anyone? Does he have an aversion to mops? Has your dog ever squeezed through a small opening? Has your dog ever chewed anything?
This left me wondering…has the Pet’s Hotel ever met a dog?
I got someone to contact PH from my hospital bed and told them the questionnaire was a bit difficult because I was getting medical treatment. In between changes to my catheter and the drugs I was on, everything was a bit hard. But they said no, there weren't any exceptions to the grand written questionnaire despite my circumstances. Even an offer to verbally provide them with information was refused.
One could then speculate on why the PH requires your doggies dirty deeds in writing, but this is cleared up in the client agreement. PH state, "Should your pet damage The Pets Hotel property, you will be billed for the replacement."
On your way out, don't forget to pay the mandatory $20 bathing fee, which you incur because the Pet's Hotel has no grass for your dog to pee in private. Yep, that's why your dog gets dirty in a clean facility.
If you don't mind forms, don't forget to fill in the:
- The online booking form
- The client agreement form
- The veterinary authority form
- The medication form
- The activity form (only $6 to pat your dog)
- The own-food dietary form ($1.50 per meal to eat your own food, and please make sure you label and portion every single meal or we will charge you an additional $1.50 per meal)
all of which are required for pooches stay.
If you'd rather just get it done, Abbas Cats & Dogs, Anchorage Cats and Dogs, Bayside Pet Centre, Dogs Country club and Kennel, Griffin Cats and Dogs, Kooronya Cats and Dogs, or Welcome Cats and Dogs, all of whom came recommended by my vet. Cheers!

We were extremely happy with the services provided to Kip whilst she was staying at The Pets Hotel. When Kip has stayed at other kennels she has come back significantly underweight due to Kip being a very fussy eater and easily distracted. To receive updates on her weight and eating made us feel far more comfortable and to hear that you had gone out of your way to get Chicken Mince and Rice made us very happy.

My beautiful pup LOVED her time at pets hotel. She came home smelling beautiful, looking and acting happy. Oh&she kept napping. She must have ran&jumped a lot. Thank you so much for taking great care of my daughter ❤️

I recently used The Pets Hotel for my Frenchie, Gerry and I was very happy. It was easy to book and there is a lot of information online for the different services and 'rooms' available. The only thing I would suggest would be great to add is to get a photo or a written update just once during the stay. Just because we miss our fur kids. Will definitely be using them again, next time I travel!

Absolutely amazing experience for both us and our puppy! The team at Pets Hotel were fantastic from the start. They constantly reassured us the process and the experience our baby would have and they far exceeded. Not only was he intently looked after, note he spent some time snuggling with reception but after his bath he was also snuggled up in bed in a warm towel to watch masterchef til I arrived. Perfect! We will definitely be back :)

The whole experience with booking in, dropping off and collecting our dogs was faultless. The team at Pets Hotel are amazing and give you peace of mind that your pets will be looked after just as well as they are at home. Our dogs have never stayed with anyone other than family but when they came home their behavior and demeanor was no different to when we dropped them off. A fantastic experience for what can be a nervous one - for owners and pets. I highly recommend using The Pets Hotel and we will be again and again when necessary.

After spending some time at the hotel talking to staff and looking around we decided to leave our very spoilt and nervous girl in their care during our short stay away. The staff we met all seemed great and showed that they were animal lovers.Indoor climate controlled , well monitored and clean. Upon pick up our girl looked well cared for , happy and clean. Will be using this hotel again without hesitation.

I use The Pets hotel most days of the week for daycare for my Aussie Shepherd puppy. He loves going there and has loads of doggy friends, most of them regulars like us. Because he is still young and growing, the group of dogs he is put with is always changing to suite his attitude on the day; eg- he is put with quiet dogs when the staff see he needs a rest or put with the more boisterous dogs when he is in the mood for playing.
He stayed there for a few nights recently and was very happy but worn out when we picked him up, exactly like we had hoped he would be!
We have had our cat stay a couple of times and the staff are great even though he was an absolute nightmare to handle as he is a large boy and can get angry when he's in new situations.
Definitely recommended to everyone I know with pets or plans for pets!response / report this review -

Forest, a slightly anxious senior dog, recently experienced a long term stay at The Pets Hotel. His first time in any facility since The Dogs Home, where he spent a considerable and understandably stressed period. The Pets Hotel suited him and treated him well, understanding his particular needs dietary, medically and his age. The buddy system, climate control and social interaction made his stay as comfortable as possible in an away from home situation. He was one happy dog! Thank you team!

The first time I used The Pets Hotel was after my dog's abdominal surgery. I hated to leave him but had to go to the US for my mother's funeral. I wanted a place that I could feel confident he would be well taken care of. I had heard wonderful things about The Pets Hotel but that they were expensive. I took the plunge and was glad I did! They carefully fed him the specially-prepared baked chicken and rice dishes I prepared and it worked because he did not lose any weight but instead regained the weight he had lost.
Since then, I only use The Pets Hotel when I travel because I have an active dog and they have the closely supervised daytime playtime for him with other dogs with similar temperament. I watch them on the Live Webcam and am impressed with they way they handle the dogs - they're always happy and get along because they are so closely supervised. I also use other "extras" they provide, such as taking him for walks, extended playtime and cuddles.
My boy Jake always looks forward to his next stay. He craves his hugs from The Pets Hotel "goddesses". He always arrives home happy, relaxed and in great condition.
They are, by far, the best kennels I have ever used.response / report this review
