I would not recommend anyone to study at Swinburne online. All the tools and websites are tedious and difficult to navigate. I submitted a request to defer a semester and their website is so trash it didn’t go through on their end even though I received a confirmation screen. Now I’ve been charged for an additional semester and uni won’t give me my money or grades back. I honestly think it’s not worth it. Wish I went somewhere else.

Did an online course and it was terrible, the assessments were incredibly tedious and the apps/website/assessments are hard to navigate and seem very outdated. Something as simple as viewing a message form your assessor is made very difficult.

Good university with rich facilities and resources. Highly align with industry needs.

This is the former school office building. 1908 on the gate tower refers to the founding time of the predecessor Eastern Suburbs Technical College. Swinburne University became a university in 1992. Did not expect to be so young. The name of the school adopts the surname of the founders, George and Ethel Swinburne. George Swinburne was Minister of Agriculture in 1904. George and Ethel Swinburne were both born in England.

Swinburne University has a great civil engineering course. The subjects are developed with assistance from industry making them all very relevant. In addition to their helpful teaching staff which often go out of their way to assist students with their issues makes for a great university. I would highly recommend Swinburne. I should also mention that the photos taken are of the Hawthorn campus.

I have been studying at Swinburne for 5 years. It's one the worst universities in Melbourne especially for international students, all they care about is your money. Go to Latrobe or RMIT.

Yep, it's a great uni. Diverse and practical. Staff work hard with students. Good facilities. Holds its own charm in an interesting part of Melbourne.

Visited Advanced manufacturing and design centre, great experience staff were very helpful in guiding us through how a future factory would look like. Stopped for information at the he, customer service is exceptional.
The courses have become very expensive, anyone would think twice to take up a course.

They offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degrees, a great atmosphere, teachers, great facilities and good student support services specially for international students.

Well thanks for rejecting my application for no reason whatsoever, Swinburne. What because I have Aysberger's and not splashing in cash, I'm not worthy for a place at your railway bridge campus? Since when have you been so high and mighty? I only wanted to do the BA course in Creative Writing. Is that so wrong? Thanks for ruining 2017 for me by literally denying me my last hope at university. Thanks for crapping on my confidence and making me feel like I'm not worthy of a higher education. Thanks for putting me in the loser corner like every other colkege in this city. May God spit on you rude, bigoted, time wasters.

And FYI: I'm also a former student. I did the Cert IV course in Theatre Arts in 2013, when you use to own the Prahran campus. So thanks for the mistreatment. Thanks for the punch in the face.

Apply here if you want your enrolment to end up in a complete meltdown - missing units and reversed timetables (don't tell me it was my mistake, they even admitted their system is WHACK). Also don't even attempt sorting the issue through the Student HQ, they are about as useful as an unattached doorknob

Commenced and concluded my Diploma of business through Swinburne's fast track program in 2015.
it's now been two years and I am still waiting for my Diploma qualification. After months of emails and reminders I am still waiting!
I am unsure if Swinburne want to keep me unemployed or?
Try and conduct your studies else where. I pride myself on organisation and without my certificate I am struggling to find employment.
    Thanks Swinburne your terrible!

The quality of customer service is appealing. As a postrgrad student I was told to raise a ticket to have Swinburne's IT issue fixed. I raise the ticket which is closed the next day with the comment "we will reach out to you". 1 Week goes by and no one reaches out to me. I raise another ticket and that one gets closed as well. 2 days later (overall 1.5weeks gone now) I attempt to call them at 10AM and kept on hold for over 15mins (and still counting) without reaching anyone to talk to.
