When I did my diploma of nursing at Holmesglen I did get enough marks to go to Monash for my nursing. However studying nursing at Deakin has been a great choice. The staff are approachable and friendly. I am a post grad student completing an undergraduate degree and the teachers know how to interact with me. While I am not drowning in assignments I do have the time to combine work with study.

They need to review their policies and improve school governance. The experience at Deakin University was terrible. Many students complained about the teaching methods at Deakin and they have not taken any steps to rectify their mistakes.

I am studying at Deakin now. Having studied at many universities I will be objective in this review. I am doing laws at Deakin. The admin staff has been very helpful when there are issues arising. The lib and facilities are 85 out of 100. You can stay 24 hours to study if you wish. My faculty is ok. Some lectures are great some are not. Online recordings are available for all my subjects. Expectation is extremely high and exam time constraint is crazy. I had to buy the best pen and bandage my fingers for my final exams to write as fast as I could. Be very careful because CellOPark will try to charge you 2$ a month until you realised you chose their premium option by default and haven’t figured out how to remove it correctly from their website (not the app).

Creative outdoor seating. Nice landscaping. Places to sit and to connect. And places for quiet study. Right next to Gardiner's Creek trail and reserve - great for walking, jogging, cycling or walking a dog or throwing a ball.

Terrible support staff that would rather you repeat in order to up their revenue. They never explain anything in depth nor do they complete teaching in lectures. They're too focused on 'group discussion' in tutorials. This place is the definition of "Ps get degrees".

One who says cannot even gain a credit in subjects is the one who is incompetent.
One who says enrolling was difficult is the one who fails to explore and find stuff himself.
One who says staff was rude/unprofessional is the one who judges people without knowing them totally.
One who says unable to study is the one who is not interested in studying at all.
It's an amazing university to take part for a brighter future.
Faculty is very friendly. They are happy to review your results if requested and correct if appropriate.response / report this review -

The admin was so horrible and unhelpful that I actually ended up unenrolling from Deakin and going to another university. I needed help with credit points and the lady refused to help me and said I was annoying and a nuisance for asking to meet with her for advice! Would not recommend Deakin at all they made me feel horrible and don't care about student wellbeing.

Its where degrees come from. Why not go there, they might let you do something cool, like become a sewage engineer or cut open someones chest. Its the soft landing pad for people who didnt quite make it to monash or Melbourne uni. But hey, it beats latrobe.

I come from the health faculty and have experienced so much support!
I also get involved in student feedback forums and have witnessed constant Deakin projects aimed at developing greater student experiences.
Teaching staff are amazing and from who I have had the opportunity to learn from in Psychology, they are very experienced and very supportive in giving their students the best education possible!!
There is a focus on graduate learning outcomes (even as staff) and Deakin aims at not only providing students with the necessary knowledge required for prospective professions, but also aims to graduate well rounded individuals who have a lot more than knowledge to back up success.

Don't bother with this university. They only judge you by your ATAR and nothing else. In my opinion, I don't think they understand the term "ATAR does not define a person". Worse university I have ever seen, this university shouldn't even exist.
