The leisure center itself is great.
I found customer service to be wonderful and helpful.
My daughter goes to the swim school.

What I will say isthe cafe was a let down.
Went to get a coffee before swim school and the young girl who was serving was swamped with orders. The poor girl was flustered and all red. Clearly see her overwhelmed with being there on her own. She was walking from coffee machine to register. Looked like she was confused as to where to start with the orders she had just taken.
Why on earth put one young girl on? There was plenty of people waiting, 5pm is peak time as so many people/parents are either coming and going from swimming lessons/gym/outdoor pools.
Order after order from when I placed my coffee and no one to help the poor girl.
Finally after 10mins of waiting, she was able to make it.
And clearly no barista experience. I saw her tipping milk down the sink and re heating the jug again (Not her fault, she tried)
Coffee tasting burnt but feel bad to return it as the poor girl burnt her hand as she was trying to move it from coffee machine to table top to put lid on it. It was supposed to be a lattè (I don’t mind paying $4 something for a coffee if it’s good) but in the coffee there’s not much milk and this tasted like a**. I don’t want to ask for a refund as another lady was there and asked for her money back as she didn’t want to wait long for her coffee but let me tell you 7/11 coffee is better tasting and cheaper. I know, I know, 7/11 coffee blasphemy!!!! but that’s how bad it tasted!!!
Writing to leave comment as I hope someone in the cafe will see this and maybe do something about the service.

This is one of my favorite swimming pools in the area. I've been to many but I keep frequenting Sutherland Leisure Center when I can.

The indoor pool is amazing with plenty of room for the kids to run around and be wild. There are lanes for adults, and several other areas for people who just want to stand around or learn to swim. The indoor facilities have very good change rooms with warm showers. The sauna is nice, and so is the spa bath.

The outdoor pools are huge, and are literally back to back. Plenty of room for loads of people, often the lanes remain unused. There is a grass area for those who want to soak up the rays or just sit back and enjoy watching the family swim.

The prices are a little steep, so if you can get a concession by all means try to. There are several different programs, would be worth while phoning up and asking some questions. The staff weren't overly nice, the lady seemed preoccupied with her own affairs, and truth be told a smile and warm aura would go a long way

The cafeteria was fairly dismal, although they had a lot of options on display the prices were expensive and the quality wasn't there. I ordered a triple berry yogurt for around $6, and it was basically old defrosted berries and a cheap brand of Greek yogurt. The yogurt was going off by the incorrect temperature, and it was bordering on something that might make me feel sick, so I chucked it. The hot chocolate was average, I didn't see any marshmallows, and there was no love from the tattooed attendant who was rude and unfriendly - a bad example to the young teen employee working next to him.

At the end of the day, the facilities were very clean and well kept, there were life guards on watch, and people left their bags all over the place, so stealing is wasn't much of a concern. I would as a whole recommend Sutherland Leisure Center, it's certainly a lot better than many other swimming centers around Sydney. Avoid the cafeteria, it's junk and their display food is not properly thermally tampered, at best you might get a tummy ache, at worst food poisoning. If you need a coffee, get one, but avoid the other stuff.

Excellent aquatic center, clean and very well maintained. Pools are decently sized and the water temperature is perfect, although the gym is a bit nicer in Hurstville.
There is a spa area too but it's quite small and usually crowded.
Still overall one of the best pools around especially if you are only after swimming.

Busy on Saturday mornings. Showers are short and hot but the cubical style means there can be a long wait while some patrons choose to get changed in the shower cubicals. Facilities are clean and no other complaints.

I don't understand how everyone's experience is so postive my main criticism is the cost of entry, if i want to go the gym and use the swimming facility after it costs over 40 dollars i can understand for family admission it is at a fare price however for a professional adult that is robbery.

The pros are yes the facilities are good but there gym doesnt warrant those prices hence why i havnt been there in years also the staff are arrogant and rude for no apparent reason they arent on any olympic team im aware of or building rockets ships perhaps its a shire thing.
