Food is always fantastic and the staff are seasoned professionals not just eye candy. The company I work for has used the venue on several occasions to have our annual dinner meet and greet function. Always great!

We were a small group for lunch, every dish was outstanding. I had the best confit duck EVER. Friends shared their meals, all were fantastic, I would have been happy with any of them.

I love this restaurant and would happily recommend it to anyone. It is lovely sitting outside for lunch in the sunshine watching the boats bobbing and people passing by. I am not so sure about the inside decor yet as I have not dined in the evening. I love the food as it is so fresh and feels like it is made with TLC. I think that it is easily one of the best in Newcastle. The food is not overly flavoured but the natural flavours are enhanced by good compilation and/or cooking. I think my favourite is the tasting plate as the seafood is allowed to shine delicately. The service can be a little on the slow side. If you can go there to relax, it is fine.

I have been a regular diner at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner over the last three years.

On a bright sunny day, you could easily be mistaken for thinking your somewhere in a coastal area of France or the Mediterranean as the décor and atmosphere of this restaurant overlooking the NCYC Marina is just superb.

The Food here is consistently very good, in fact in my view, one of the best restaurants in the Newcastle region.

The service is relaxed, helpful and as attentive as you need however if you are in a hurry, you had better go elsewhere.

I always enjoy my visits to Rocksalt and can recommend it to anyone interested in quality fresh seafood and casual fine dining.
