This is our favourite local Indian. I’m very fussy with my chicken and theirs is always perfectly cooked. We get chicken tikka and butter chicken. Their yellow lentil dish is my favourite it’s even better with the green yoghurt dribbled over the top. Never had a bad experience there. 10/10.

The price is reasonable.
The atmosphère was not that great.

Had my sons first birthday celebration hosted here for around 26 people and should i say that the quality and quantity was PERFECT!! They played the perfect host and the guests were quite happy with the quality of food served and the attentiveness to detail. Would highly recommend them for catering services or any celebrations. KUDOS!!!

One of the best if not the best Indian restaurant we've been to and we have been to a lot. For starters we had Gobi Manchurian , garlic and cheese naan. Followed by our favourite Paneer Tikka Masala, and Methi Chicken as suggested by our host Vijay.
Food was was delicious and very friendly staff.
Highly recommend it.
We will be back.

I ordered the food through menulog and the food was to arrive 32 minutes ago. I live 5min drive from the restaurant so I politely rang to get an update only for the lady to rudely tell that the delivery man is on his way and hung up. Definitely not worth the wait. Would rather a refund

My favorite place for indian cuisine!! Absolutly amazing!! Soo addictive, and very yummy i have ordered a few times from taj and love the food. I have been very happy everytime!!

Unclear how this place came to have such good google reviews, possibly has changed management as food was very average and service was very poor (deliberately misled on the bill, wasn't a great deal but wasn't a good experience). Wouldn't recommend.

Having tried the other Indian restaurants in the area, we left Castle Taj knowing we had found the best of the bunch. Highly recommend coming here. Staff were polite and helpful and the food excellent!

Very helpful staff with perfect suggestions! The food was delicious, the chicken malabar and chicken mango were lovely with two others at home who also loved them.
The staff were patient and accomodating when I changed my order.
I would suggest they remove the promotion that has ended on their website which can cause confusion for tired patrons like myself!

Sumit the owner is a terrific guy. Great quality, good pricing, and friendly staff. I had organised catering for 4 events back to back in Feb 2017 with Castle Taj. Participants in the 4 events raved about the food, taste, quality and variety. Sumit and team handled all events excellently. Food was prepared fresh on the spot with quality ingredients. The pricing was very good and food was exceptional. Sumit is extremely focused on customer satisfaction and commercial aspects take secondary place (unlike many other restaurants that I approached where the main focus was on commercial aspects). Sumit has now become more of a family guy to us and for all future Indian food catering needs I will not look beyond Castle Taj. I have no hesitation at all in strongly recommending Castle Taj for casual fine dining or event catering needs.

Got the food from delivery for my first ever experience of Castle Taj food. First off, me and my brother were shocked at the speed of delivery, which was great. The three curry we ordered were lamb, chicken and vegetarian option and they all taste pretty great spice and flavour wise. The burn provided from the curry were manageable and delightful as I find too many Indian cooking nowadays are either too spicy, too sweet or too mild ,Castle Taj is none :)
