Clean, well appointed and convenient in the heart of Chinatown. Only negatives would be that the pool/gym area is very basic and that the shower is over the spa bath, so there is a very high step over the side of the tub to step in and out onto wet tiles.

Nice place for a weekend stay. Good location, close to the city centre and public transport. Being in Chinatown it's particularly good if you like Asian food and culture.

Self contained apartment, of decent quality. But the location is amazing, right in the heart of Melbourne CBD/ Chinatown.

This is the worst experience staying in Melbourne so far.

Pros: right in the middle of China town, the Majestic Theatre just right at the next corner.

Cons: + No free internet
+ dirty walls (503), the materials in the room look and feel cheap. They obviously try to be what they can not be, as well as the interior design.
+ bad, mouldy smell when I checked in. They tried to cover it with cheap air freshener, and that smell just made it worse. I had to open the balcony, left the room for at least 2 hours before I can have a lie down.
+ small "stupid" smart TV (~25-30in)(the first generation which can not even show HD). So all you can watch is mostly SD 7 or 9.
+ When we asked them if they have a DVD player, the guy at the reception said that they have a few but all of them are borrowed (?) and suggested that we should check again the next day. We did check again the next day and another guy said that they DO NOT have any DVD player at all. (WTH?!)
+The shower screen in the bathroom is really short. when showering, water is always all over the floor no matter what how hard you try.
+Swimming pool and gym is just a joke.

* Funny thing: one of the 2 photo frames on the wall is upside down.

My husband and I stayed last weekend
The hotel is brilliant, we had the spa room and it was fab the little kitchenette was great you could buy food and cook it in the apartment

It's bang in the middle of china town so you have endless restaurants and there a bar and tab next door which does great food.

There was room service everyday too.
We would definitely go back to stay

Only downside would be there was no oven in 1 bedroom apartment with spa bath, other than that i really enjoyed my stay.

Usually stay here when in Melbourne. Rooms Always satisfactory, beds comfortable. The rooms have Washer, dryer and mini kitchen. Rooms not having the road are very quiet. Also very well priced with free internet if you join the punthill club (free)

I have stayed here many times over the last few years and always enjoy it. Nice large, clean rooms and right in the middle of Melbourne. A great place. The staff are friendly and very efficient. Wonderful.
