One of the cosiest and nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. The staff do everything they can to make your stay go well! Don't miss wine and cheese! It's not classy but it's free!!

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. Great location, brilliant pub below, rooms are super clean, nice little lounge and wash rooms are fab. Awesome place and breakfast in the bar 😁

I stayed at pint on punt for about three months and had the best time. The receptionist (Kiera) was always very friendly and extremely helpful. The bar staff are awesome too and you get discounted drinks and tasty food (try the chicken burger) while staying there. The bar always has something going and live music but when I wanted a chill night I heard no noise from the bar. I met some friends for life at this hostel and would definitely stay here again!! Pint on punt I love you! And I recommend to all.

Great place with good vibes everyone is so friendly, it's really easy to meet people. The place is clean, comfortable and management couldn't be more helpful! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne, I loved staying here!

Mate this place is amazing kiera (the manager) is so fabulous and helps out with everything. This place definitely made my stay in Melbourne 20x better. Can't wait to get back and stay there again!

I stayed at the pint on Punt for a couple weeks to get my bearings in Melbourne. I was initially drawn to the place by it's affordable pricing but was super excited by the atmosphere and the welcomeness of the other people. They have an adjoining pub downstairs and it was chocked full of deals for backpackers--food and drink. Also, there was even a night with free wine and cheese for backpackers. As for the rooms, the one I had was dark. That being said, I asked for that, and Laura at reception hooked me up! Free breakfast was also nice and a good way to jumpstart my day. Because of all of this, I have just booked another 2 weeks. Looking forward to meeting lovely new people.

Good WiFi connection in rooms too, clean bathrooms and rooms. The cheapest price I could find and you also get free breakfast ( cereal, toasts and hot drinks ). Friendly and helpful staff.

Staff are rude and not willing to fix issues but turn people away. Definitely a place to not stay at. Your better staying in the heart of melbourne cbd saving money and time instead of using taxis or trams. They also threatened my partner woth the cops who was not aggressive or swearing and left us with no where to stay. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! After reading reviews i suggest you look at them for yourself. The place is filthy.

Lovely wee hostel with a great friendly feel. Basic when it comes to rooms and toilet/showers. But mostly a good experience, and I would go back. Pub attached also very good 😊
