Pocket friendly, complementary breakfast, friendly staff
Room was sufficiently equipped but ill maintained. Staff very reasonably polite.
Very nice environment and rooms are clean. Close to parks and I jogged around the 10k loop along the Swan River which was fantastic.
Booked a room for 2 adults and a child, got given a room with 1 bed called to change rooms and was told i should never of been aloud to book for 3 as they dont do those rooms and that they can only bring a rollaway after 8pm ( after my child's bed time). I also paid for a 1pm late check out but at 10.10am had someone banging on my door asking when im leaving and contact the front desk if i wish to leave later. Called front desk got told hotel was fully booked and had to be out by 12.
Lovely friendly knowledgeable staff. Great spacious rooms. Great central location
common area a bit worn but rooms are in good condition
Quite good actually. Cool staff. Well priced. Comfy, clean and straight up.
Not even exaggerating:
1- wifi doesn't work correctly , internet straight outta 1997. I timed it: 2mins 46seconds to return a google search.
2- there is NO AIR CON! Staff tell you "it's not summer anymore". Buildings get hot, this is hotel 101. I cannot believe the logic. The add for the hotel says that the room has air con
3- TV system does not work correctly. No movies etc and had to get tech to my room to get the TV to turn on. There are no "premium channels" = once again a complete lie. (Didn't have to be a big issue , if you don't have movie channels etc then don't advertise that you do)
4- Use the room phone to call reception and it also doesn't work. So I was lucky I could complain face to face. The hotel staff got it working though, so they have this going for them which is nice.
While I'm here I'll also add - 1/2 ply toilet paper makes baby Jesus cry. If only the hand soap was sufficient enough to make up for the inevitable shortcomings of the paper. Yes you are probably interpreting this correctly.
I spent $150 to hire a sauna to sleep in.
For someone who travels for a living this is literally the worst hotel I've stayed at (and I've stayed in some bomb places- but paid bomb prices).
If you get the room for a few bucks then fine , but for most I'd recommend staying away.
It was very hot in our room the whole weekend. When we told the front desk, they could only give us a fan. Apparently other people said their rooms were cold, so apparently the HVAC doesn't work in the whole building We had to sleep on top of the covers. The bed wasn't comfortable, either. Location was nice though.
My room smells so musty. Although the hotel lobby looks decent, they obviously did not bother to have the same level of maintenance for the rest of the hotel where the guests actually stay. What was worse was the front desk lady was incredibly rude and abrupt. The only redeeming factor is the wifi is very good.
It's one bus away from everything. With great rooms and really nice and helpful people working there.
Good place to stay for a cheap 1 night but wouldn't stay there any longer. The service was ok but buffet breakfast wasn't that great.
The rooms are clean and the service and food is good
Great hotel. Quiet place with pleasant staff. Local to many restaurants and shops..
Staying for 3 nights for work. The location is pretty good but the area around the hotel is a little sketchy with some characters wandering around. The room is pretty good, definitely a bit dated and a little musty but it is a big place, 2 TVs and 2 rooms with a walk in closet and bathroom. Walls are a bit scuffed. Staff were quite friendly at the front desk.
Overall very good value for money but needs a little work.
