I'm self employed and just recently had all of my colorbond samples stolen out of my vehicle. Called into Outdoor World rockingham to get some more as they did have a sample chart. After politely introducing myself to the lady at the desk and explaining the situation of being broken into she was more than happy to point me in the right direction. All of a sudden some hero walked out and have me 20 questions about taking some samples off the board, what are you doing here? Where are you from! Why are you pinching our samples! Can you go somewhere else and pinch theirs! So I politely explained the situation again as I'm local to rockingham and didn't feel like driving up to Metroll in Kewdale to get them. He then carried on to tell me that we charge customers for samples. I argued that they are free to anyone of the general public. doesn't matter who you are. It's like a paint colour card at bunnings mate. I also offered to put them back if he was gonna carry on like a turkey, which he was. He then persisted to tell me I better go to metroll next time. So Outdoor World rockingham I was keen to do business with you but after that encounter I will take my business elsewhere. Piss poor customer service. Very rude to a subcontractor trying to make a living.
