I now have several lengths of the above mentioned timber i will have to waste.
One star at a pinch

Member of your staff Thank you
Excellent Service from one member of staff today who was able to tell me exactly what was needed from a single photo of a dryer. She knew all the information I needed off the top of her head! Very impressed
My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because after waiting for over 10mins for someone to pick up the phone you gave me cancer anyway.
While they have a good range of products, most of the time their customer service is poor. Especially returns, check out, front door, plants, outdoor etc. There are still though a small handful of decent staff there.
Hardware AND coffee, plus a very helpful young person who found everything I needed, packaged it up and said, "Just tell them your name at any checkout, and they'll have everything ready" - and it was!
Full range of products that you expect at a full sized Bunnings. Staff always friendly and eager to help although sometim3s it's hard to find someone to help.
Great shop and huge stock. Well laid out and on weekends often have activities for the kids. The staff are really helpful too
Dropped into Bunnings this morning. Quickly found what I needed then went to pay. Only one check out open for about 15 people waiting. Meanwhile there is a charming young lady by the door ready to greet new customers but doing nothing! I suggested they open one more of the many tills just while the rush is on but they want to stick with the system which of course they can as they've put all the other hardware stores out of business. After 4or5 minutes I had to leave without my purchases.
Regards John Higgins.
Great place for shopping, comparatively cheap. Good customer service
Always helpful staff, able to find what I'm looking for without any hassels even when I'm in a rush. Kids love the playground.
A big Bunnings. Even more than big: is great.
Needed a few meters of shadecloth cut off the reel, asked for assistance FIVE times, got sent back to the aisle to wait for help each time and no one came. Took 30 minutes and I wound up walking out without the shadecloth- past the employees chatting idly at the counters and ignoring the intercom. Been here three times and this has happened literally every time- won't be back.
Always has plenty of stock and the exact tools and equipment needed for any job, to bad there is no one willing to help you find what you're looking for. It always feels like a hunt to find somebody to ask for directions to a certain item, and once you do spot someone in your gaze, you better hope they don't see you, because like startled deer, they bolt off at the first sign of customer interaction. Very annoying if you are in a rush or just want to get in and out quickly, however, due to many years of this, I believe I've developed an understanding towards navigating the tall shelf maze; no longer requiring staff assistance, unless it's for general questions outside of navigating the store, in which case, I'm always more than likely out of luck. Range and stock is excellent, staff support is below bad.
