  While the rooms are a bit dated, the staff are great and we felt really welcome. The rooms are large and well lit, and the apartments are clean. Great if you are planning to stay for a few days to learn diving and explore the reef. Highly recommended.

  This Motel is characteristically old & has that homely feel, with aple cupboards, full lounge suite & everything else. The kids loved the pool area & we all enjoyed our stay!

  Cons: Could use a little paint. Pros: The rest. Great little place, with friendly owner, very helpful. Nice pool, big ( no, Huge) rooms, and everything you could want. Only stayed there 2 nights, but would love to spend a week or more there.

  A comfortable motel with attractive swimming pool. Very helpful proprietor. Can arrange local tours. Some updating would not go amiss.

  We stayed at the Oasis Inn for four nights in a two bedroom serviced apartment. The Oasis Inn is rated as three star accommodation and is classified as budget style accommodation. The price was commensurate with the quality of the room decor, facilities and furnishings. The beds are comfortable, the room was clean and the air conditioner cold, however, the room did need basic maintenance and a fresh lick of paint. I recommend the two bedroom apartment for a group of four. It is comparable to four people staying at some of the local backpacker hostels.

  We have just spent a total of 13 nights in this place, and were very happy with it. Location is great, easy walk to Esplanade, and accessible to everywhere else we wanted. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and well kept. The kitchen is adequately equipped for a self catering apartment, the bed comfortable and the hot water supply in the bathroom good. Extremely friendly and helpful staff Would stay there again

  You get what you paid for, but the service was better than I expected. Giving an extra star!
  
  Pros: Opposite two 24/7 stores. Walk distance but still 30 minutes to the CBD.
  
  Cons: Somehow my 3 night stay with pool closed for 2 nights. No hair dryer. Its an old building as you paid for, smell old too.
