Great location, our room was right on the beach and close to everything. It was great to relax in the room while being able to see the beach at the same time. The rooms are a bit outdated and need refurbishing. Pool has no shade sail so gets warm during the day. A good stay.

Great time here! Location is fantastic right on the beach. Pool is awesome to chill out by and have a swim. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Comfortable accommodation. Just need to step up the cleaning, for the serviced apartment accommodation. Bugs sqaushed on the wall in plain sight, probably a good indication some cleaning was missed.

Brilliant location just off the beach. Restaurants and cafes are close. The pool is big with an amorphous layout. The resort features many rooms with full kitchens and adjoining rooms to suit families.

I really loved this hotel! Stayed in one bedroom apartment - it had everything you need and also fantastic views :) The location is great, right next to the beach, the rooms are very comfortable and the pool is fantastic! Recommend for families - kids of all ages will love the huge and beautiful pool :)

The main pool is large, with both deep and shallow sections, which is good. The separate toddler's pool is colder, too cold for toddlers in July. Our room was comfortable. I had mistakenly expected a serviced apartment with room service on call, when actually they are not serviced (except for extra $ or more than 8 night stays).

Good setting and nice pool but room could do with a spruce up. Also rooms only serviced weekly. Would be nice to have bbq on site. Also no lift. Handy to all restaurants.

BUYER BEWARE! Booked 3 nights through Mantra's Departure Lounge (paid upfront) and it ended up being the same weekend Cyclone Debbie hit to the south. My partner's parents were visiting from the U.S. so we made the decision (while Cairns was in the 'watch zone') that it was too risky to make the trip from Sydney. I spoke with the Amphora and with 3-4 reservations supervisors and received zero empathy, compassion or customer service. They were completely unwilling to offer different dates or even a partial refund. They just kept all $510. Their reply was always some variation of, 'here are the rules and we can't (read: aren't willing to) do anything to help you. If you book with this company, don't be surprised if you receive a similar level of service.

My partner and I were very exciting to be spending 2 nights (including new years eve) at the Mantra Amphora Palm Cove.We were given a $500 dollar gift voucher for our joint 60th birthdays and paid an aditional $160 for the 2 night stay.

To say that we found the one bedroom apartment to be very dirty and unclean would be an understatment,we found popcorn,a shoe lace,xmas ribbon,xmas paper,packaging,cockroach,earwig insect,stickers,knitting wool and other rubbish and fluff on the floors.

This was brought to the attention of staff who offered to re clean the room,we decline because of the time it would have taken and on principle.When paying that amount of money one would expect that the room should and would be clean on arrival.

In addition there was mildew on the doors,venetian blinds and we had to wash cutlery and crockery
before use because they were dirty.The toilet was unclean and a disgrace. The walls were stained,marked and in need of a clean and paint.

There was a electrical plug in the kitchen hanging out of the wall, the light and fitting in the bathroom fell out of the ceiling when the door slammed closed.Both of these issues were repair when brought to the attention of staff.

All of the issues regarding the lack of cleanliness and the poor standard of the room are still pending.

The only thing that was 4 star at the Mantra Amphora accommodation at Palm Cove was the view to the ocean from the balcony and the physical size of the apartment.

The accommodation is grossly over priced for the standard on offer and is in need of a total referbishment.

We were very disappointed with our stay.

It is set in a peaceful location and has a pool and is close to a variety of dining options. The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning and fans. The only problem is you have to carry your own bags up flights of stairs if you are not on the ground floor whick xan be difficult if you are older or have any disability.
