Everything you would expect from a large private hospital. Very professional and most of the top specialist operates there, and it's just right next to major trauma hospital RNSH if anything goes wrong I guess.

I've had the best care and they manage to Pick up on a serious problem we were not even aware of. The staff are fantastic. There was only one bad nurse my whole stay. Fantastic place to be when you're really ill and hate hospital's.

Appalling maternity ward. Ineptitude of the highest degree with a unhealthy amount of attitude to boot.
However I hear great things about the RNS public maternity ward from friends that went there.

One of the best if not the best hospital I've seen and felt. The only draw back is the Parking situation. People go to hospital either because they're sick or maybe to visit someone they care and love. As we all know there is a public hospital and generally people whom uses these hospitals are mainly the ones who haven't got much money so the last thing they expext is how expensive they are to use especially for people to park their cars at a public hospital areas. Its morally wrong! Then to have those personalityless characterless computer-like parking inspectors to roam around looking for preys in truly disgrace. I even witnessed one inspector hiding between car's waiting for the drivers to leave then pouncing at their first opportunity. So disgrace

Had knee replacement surgery and the whole experience was outstanding. Nothing was ever a trouble and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was as conformable as possible. I cannot recommend this hospital and is staff highly enough. Thank you.

I had a wonderful time at the NSP birthing suite and maternity. Staff were very helpful and respectful. The Obstetricians, paediatrician, and all theatre staff were all very professional and reassuring. As a FTM I was anxious not knowing what to do and what to expect, the midwives were always there to offer a hand while at the same time respecting my choices. The rooms were very nice and warm and very clean. All staff were very professional; from cleaning staff, catering and everyone else I got in contact with. I would gladly recommend this hospital to anyone thinking of giving birth in a private hospital.

A truly appalling experience. I sat with an open mouth alongside the very professional attending hand physiotherapist whilst the Practice Manager bullied me into a choice I was not comfortable with. I tried to explain that I was not comfortable with the Practice Manager's confrontational manner. The physiotherapist looked very uncomfortable and cringing at the Practice Manager's behaviour. I felt threatened and asked if I could leave at which time the Practice Manager directed profanity at me in front of another patient (a father and their teenage son). The physiotherapist was visibly in shock. I hastily made an exit. I try to look at these things on balance and expect the Practice Manager is under some degree of pressure or other distraction. Notwithstanding, this was my experience. One does not expect to be confronted with that conduct and obviously for my own well-being I will not be returning. I would like to believe that the Practice Manager was just having a very off day.

Overcharged my admission (Overnight) - charged me Co-Payment for two nights and refused to give me my money back and now I have to wait until they are ready to refund my $400. I called PRIOR to my discharge about one or two nights charge and I was told that I would be charged for the first night, then if I stayed the second night they would process the second co-payment. WRONG! No way the admission staff were going to honor that thinking. To top it off, the nurse on my discharge day went through my personal belongings, and accused me of being a 'Crystal' addict before locking my personal items up in my top drawer, delaying my discharge.

"PEOPLE CARING FOR PEOPLE" - empty words, and could NOT be further from the truth. "Business focussed on our fiscal well being to ensure we are here in the future for you" would be a far better catch phrase for these people.

Sorry to all the wonderful staff that do work there, the bad apples and bean counters are giving you all a bad name.
