I've been here a few times. Reception was helpful each time although there are long waits to see the doctor. Quality of doctor varies. One was useless and rude and I refuse to see him again. Two other doctors were lovely and appeared to care about my health. The centre bulk bills and will accept walk ins if they aren't busy, although they prefer you make an appointment.

Just been reading some of the reviews of the practice.

Almost like some of the reviewers are from another planet

I have attending one of the doctors in the practice since a few days after I arrived from the UK more than 20 years ago.

He has been the doctor for other members of my family for more that 40 years

He is the family doctor for many of my friends.

    He nothing short of phenomenal

He and his practice colleagues that i occasionally consult and also the reception staff represent some the finest medical care you will receive on the planet!!!

I am currently on holiday in the UK (my home country)Now the Uk is reputed to have pretty good primary health.

    However

Yet even my friends and family here in England are in awe of the level of care I receive at the Dee why Medical Centre

I am a little upset and defensive of "my doctors" and can only presume that the "whingers" are more easily motivated to post a review than us silent majority of patients who receive great care day in day out.

Well here's one patient standing up for something special his life

    So

I suggest before flicking your negative reviews into Google, that you give consideration to the fact that these guys give top class care to thousands of peopleevery day

Chill out guysshow a little appreciation.

    And.

Recognise something really special when it is staring you in the face

I am not serial reviewerI rarely review anything but I do not hesitate to give award 5 STARS.

The doctor assigned to my niece was disrespectful, inappropriate and very judgmental. The managers have not responded to my complaint about him over two months after I sent the complaint. I am certain they have some excellent staff however this doctor was not one of them unfortunately. Terrible experience.

It says that the Medical Centre is open till 6:30 pm. I got an eye which was swollen and went in a 5:55pm only to be told doctor is leaving I could back tomorrow. What a laughable Medical Centre who doesn't care for patients

Doctors are clinically very very good there with good Nurse support, greeted by warm and helpful reception. Definitely will go back there again.

Was shocked by the cynicism and judgemental attitude I received from the young female doctor I met with for what I felt would be a fairly routine check up. I left feeling embarrassed and worried that I hadn't been able to express my concerns because of the judgemental approach that she had taken. Won't go back as a cynical, judgmental doctor is the last thing I want when I am already feeling like crap.

I've been here a few times. Reception was helpful each time although there are long waits to see the doctor. Quality of doctor varies. One was useless - I saw him for a few complaints but he would only treat two and told me to make another appointment for the rest. He was also rough when doing a pap smear. The other doctor was lovely and appeared to care about my health. The centre bulk bills and will accept walk ins if they aren't busy, although they prefer you make an appointment.
