Took the kids there on the weekend - have been here many times before (is our local) - we had a ball. Front counter staff were a little on curt side. The pools look 'dirty', aged & tired. Could definitely use with a face lift. Wave pool is fun. Crowding is a problem too. Monash should follow Glen Eira's lead.

Nice clean place. Water is at a good temperature making the pool inviting when weather is cold outside. The lanes are a bit narrow, not a problem when the number of people in each Lane is small.

Can't get better than the Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre at Glen Waverley!! Not only this centre houses the heated (around 10 lanes) 25 metres indoor pool, it has the ever popular wave pool, children's pool. The indoor pools are heated to 30 degrees. Then the mighty 50 metres outdoor pool which is heated to 26 degrees! Deeper too at 1.9m. One the other section, there is the steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy pool.. Then there is the full service gym and fitness centre upstairs. Yes. This gym offers group classes as well! For those who want more, this gym is located on the cycling trail that leads to the city on one end, and Wheelers Hill and beyond on the other! Hope it helps!

Had a great time in the 3 swimming pools I like if the cafeteria has a main meal too, so we can have our lunch after the swim.

Love the wave pool! Lots of fun for the whole family. Gym feels a little outdated but has all the right equipment. Toilets could be a little cleaner but overall ok

Wave pool and swimming classes are the best service. A bit busy sometimes and could use some extra cleaning in the changing rooms. Considering the price and location is more than reasonable.

It's a big centre with lots of activities. We went there to spend a couple of relaxing hours through sauna, steaming room and spa. The spa area is far from the sauna which makes it a bit of a walk to get from one area to the other. But other then that, staff was friendly and ready to help out.

I joined up as a member, was so disappointed to see that the staff and center manager offer NO support or encouragement all they want is for you to pay fortnight direct debit and come and go, will Never go back there again. Monash council very unhappy with them.

The facilities are excellent. Staff are generally courteous and professional.

The difficulty is finding a place to swim. The facilities are so heavily booked out with swimming classes that one often pays to get in, only to find no room to relax and enjoy the facilities.

I'd suggest looking through the window to make sure the pools aren't all packed out with swimming classes before paying the fee, as this one is often inaccessible to the general public. The other public pools in the area are less likely to be packed, and there are several about ten minutes' drive away.

The wave pool is great fun, and the toddler pools are very well designed. These plus the outdoor pool are the only facilities not taken over by swim classes, so bear in mind that if they're all you're after it can be great, as long as there's room.

Used to go hear a lot as a child and loved it. Took my own kids there which was great for them because the wave pool that they have was good fun. My memories were of a great outdoor pool of old and it is still that. Well maintained and a great swim

My sister and I had a pleasant experience at the MARC. We both commented on how clean and orderly the place was. It's well equipped, with a 50m outside pool so people can swim enjoyably in the summer. There's also a 50m indoor pool. The 50m indoor pool has really salty water for some reason, but it's nice that it's heated. There's also a wave pool that doesn't have very big waves, which is kind of anticlimactic. But I suppose it's because it's meant for young kids. Probably our favourite thing about the MARC was the 50m outdoor pool. It even has lanes labeled "slow, medium, and fast", so you can swim laps at whichever speed you'd like. The price was pretty decent, but their memberships are kind of confusing as they're based on visits instead of a single year. Overall, the MARC is a great place to go for a swim, and I'd highly recommend it.
