The Mercure was located very close to where we wanted to be. The rooms were lovely and very clean. The service was really friendly and very happy to accommodate additional needs

Comfortable, clean & modern room, friendly & efficient staff. Dinner a bit on the dear side but probably average for capital city. Access by car difficult if heading towards the cbd due to side roads & no left, no right turns from centre lanes

Easy check in, friendly and well presented staff, the food was great (beef burger a must). The room was comfy and tidy. The only thing id pick on would be the bathroom, a lil rundown and noisy exhaust fan.

Not sure why I paid $179 for the night, well booked in advance. Yes it was a Saturday but still. The standard king room is basically a motel room, but smaller. Even smelled the same as a motel room. The contents of the mini bar were average. Choice of room service after 9 pm was between 4 items- food was ok though. The room was tiny. At least there was a fan in the bathroom, although pretty noisy. Good location.

I have been staying here since 3rd July will be here few more days, the hotel rooms r adequate maybe a little more upgrade but the staff both cleaning and reception are wonderful, reception is helpful in every way, cleaning staff service room everyday, polo restuarant on entrance level service beautiful food,10 min walk to hospital which I was doing twice a day most days, close to city and Vic markets etc, would def use again. A convenient and clean Hotel in an excellent location to the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Facilities are starting to show their age however the rooms are neat and tidy and the staff are polite and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Very close to public transport so easy to get into the city.

The location was great for an outer city hotel. The hotel is quite dated though. The outdoor pool is great if the weather is hot, but it would be too cold to use in the winter months. What I didn't like was that the side door remains unlocked so that anyone can gain access into the hotel.

Bad location very little staff and my room backed onto someone's unit where they had full view of everything I was doing

Thought it would be a bit nicer being a Mercure. The lift shuddered a bit and the door opened before it had stopped moving, so we took the stairs after that. Room furnishings were ok. Woke up to a fresh layer of dust on our things on the bedside tables. Breakfast was pretty basic. Cheapish place to stay if you've got an early appointment at the nearby medical centres. Wouldn't stay here again.
