Had a function with a buffet served. The food was Fantastic- great quality, amount and freshness. The space we hired was presentable and clean and staff were all extremely helpful.

Attended here for dinner and the Raw Muscle show for my friends hens night. The dinner was beautiful, reasonably priced and rather quick to come out. The show was AMAZING!! The raw muscle guys were great and we all had a great night.

Bistro is a good place to bring kids. They have improved the playground since the last time we were here some years ago. Food is average, what you expect for the type of place.

Went here for a kid's birthday party. As expected, the bowling alley was just okay and the arcade games selection was limited but still had a blast reliving my youth. Food platter for the adults was very good.

Great bistro especially for families with children. Queue for ordering was long and did not realize that the table tab had to be prearranged from the bar after waiting in the order line for so long. Food was generous with good kids meal options.

Food, space and drinks all good. Friendly staff were keen to help. A very busy atmosphere: lots of lights and noise - great if that's your thing, but I like it a little quieter.

For a place that serves ordinary pub grub, it's pretty good. Quite a wide range of dishes, and good selections for both seniors and kids. The kids play area will keep the kids entertained for ages, although some of the game-token machines sometimes don't work. The bar is almost always busy with nothing too special in terms of drinks. Usual specials on offer. Generous portion sizes.

I was really surprised with the Matthew Flinders. The food was what you come to expect from a family pub meal. I wasn't sure of the huge games rooms as my soon kept pestering me for money but we had a game of bowling and it was great. I would certainly be happy to visit again. Restaurant is in need of a cosmetic update as it is getting really run down.

One of our favorite family dining place. The food is not too expensive and always taste good. Kids have a playing area and the staffs are nice and polite. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone.

Sunday night dinner. Bar service was slow and the barman did not know his stock. Dinner was nothing special. "Rare" porterhouse was medium rare, served with a pile of pumpkin and traces of broccoli. I found a single small chunk of carrot too. Chips were fine. Not a bad meal, but could easily have been better. It was a very quiet night - they were not under any pressure..

Used the function room Tommy's or something, it was great, very spacious and toilets are clean. Has booths for sitting and pool tables. Service was alright, only sometimes got a smile and the bartender couldn't keep track of who was first in line to order. One of the floor staff would never smile as well and some didn't know the food that was served
But overall we still had a pleasant time, good sound system and area for a birthday party.response / report this review -

Went to the nightclub at Matthew Flinders. We went for a 21st birthday. Staff were fantastic. Finger food was great. Nice selection of drinks but pretty standard pub fare. Had a pool and snooker table that were available, though cost $3 a game.
